Position Description
Job Summary:
This is a skilled position working in a production environment. As a Truck Driver (Class A), you will be responsible for transporting materials and goods to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. You will operate and maintain company vehicles, adhere to all DOT regulations, and prioritize safety and efficiency on the road.
Essential Functions:
1. Protect family and friends. Safely transport materials and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
2. Ownership and caring. Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper and safe working condition and promptly report any damage or mechanical malfunctions.
3. Respect and engage. Communicate effectively with the paving crew, operations manager, and other team members.
Position Requirements

1. Class A valid driver’s License and a clean driving record.

As a Class A CDL driver, you will deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools and supplies to and from the customer worksite. This role will generally drive a Class A truck hauling equipment on on a flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailer in a variety of conditions, including urban, suburban, rural settings. Ability to drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones is required.

- Valid Driver's license with CDL License and acceptable driver's record
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

What You Will Do
As a local CDL Class B route driver, you will deliver product to grocery stores to ensure our products are available on store shelves.
- Complete local daily route as planned to meet service expectations
- Unload products, place product in the back room, and collect proof of delivery
- Use handheld technology to complete daily work
- Build in-store relationships and work effectively with co-workers in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain DOT rules and regulations and perform truck inspections
What We Look For
- Previous delivery, grocery, or warehouse experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and ability to meet medical certification requirements; must be 21 years or older
- Ability to safely lift 35 pounds and move frozen product using appropriate equipment
- Ability to meet pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical requirements
