The role of the Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) is to support the physician or healthcare practitioner by keeping the practice running smoothly and on schedule. This position works closely with healthcare providers to give support such as rooming patients (un'inas), assist with procedures, update and administer immunizations, assist with dispensing of prescriptions, answering phones, data entry, participate in training processes, and run simple laboratory tests. CMAs will also administer un'ina blood draws and injections when directed by providers or nurses.

Essential functions include performing basic medical and clerical procedures before and after examination, preparing, administering, and documenting immunizations or other injections, providing un'ina education, setting-up procedure trays, performing vision testing, snellen and color, performing eye and ear irrigations, EKG preparations, hook-up and run EKG, AFGAN monitor set-up, oxygen tank set-up, coordinating and educating un'ina on home sleep study equipment, assisting and coordinating utilization of immunization registry database, proactively contacting un'inas for follow-up as directed by provider, referring un'inas to appropriate services, attending staff meetings for information sharing, continuing education activities, and participating in continuous improvement efforts as required.

Working conditions include heavy work lifting requirements, physical requirements such as standing, walking, using hands/fingers to handle or feel, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, talking/hearing, seeing, tasting/smelling, pushing or pulling, and repetitive motion. Hazards and atmospheric conditions include exposure to fumes, noise, mechanical hazards, chemical hazards, burn hazards, and biohazards. OSHA Category I duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, body fluid and tissue. Equipment used for the job includes a stethoscope, thermometer, pulse oximetry, sphygmomanometer, computer, telephone, weight scale, and EKG machine. Travel is local.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), one year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant working in a clinical setting, knowledge and experience working with cultural diversities, a valid Alaska State driver's license, current Medical Assistant Certification, BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support for Healthcare Providers), experience with electronic health records, ability to maintain a calm demeanor under pressure, excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent customer service skills and attitude, familiar with clinical, behavioral, and wellness screening tools, ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, and conduct business in a service-oriented manner that is attentive, pleasant, respectful and kind when dealing with un'ina, visitors, co-workers and others.

Express is seeking a Retail Sales Leader to join our team.

The Sales Leader drives operations on the sales floor and in the stockroom, while assisting in training associates and delivering a great in-store shopping experiences for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and motivating associates to maximize sales potential
• Provide in the moment coaching/training to store associates to ensure efficient and effective floor operations, customer service, coverage, stockroom management and execution of standards.
• Partner with Store Management to provide feedback on associate performance.
• Assist in training associates on store operations, product, policy, and procedures.
• Execute action plans that optimize results
• Execute all aspects of daily store operations.
• Ensure appropriate associate coverage to create a great customer experience.
• Oversee and authorize the checkout experience.
• Assist with merchandise flow, such as shipment, replenishment, omni-channel operations, in the store.
• Monitor and analyzes the customer service provided by team members.
• Build an effective schedule with the right associate in the right place at the right time.
• Promote and support an environment focused on delivering great in-store customer experiences.
• Effectively resolves customer service issues to a positive outcome.
• Lead and models our customer experience model.
• Display expert knowledge of product, company policies, promotions, loyalty programs.
• Provide leadership and assistance with product launches, window changes, visual presentation standards, signage placement, etc.
• Other essential functions may occur as directed by your supervisor.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Education: High School or Equivalent
• Years of Experience: 1
• Proficient in use of technology (iPad, registers)
• Meets defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends and non-business hours
• Meets physical requirements
