Unit Description:
The Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital is located on our 5th floor and accommodates 34 residents. Our facility serves a diverse range of patients, spanning from middle-aged adults to geriatric residents. We maintain a balance between long-term care and subacute care, striving for a ratio of 14 short-stay patients to 20 long-term residents. Our short-stay patients typically stay with us for 1 to 6 weeks on average, receiving specialized care for conditions such as sepsis, post-orthopedic surgery recovery, and wound care. For our subacute population, we provide a spectrum of skilled nursing and therapy services, including wound care with advanced techniques like wound vacuums, antibiotic therapy, and comprehensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Our long-term residents exhibit a wide range of needs, from those requiring minimal assistance with daily activities to others who rely completely on our care and support. Education/Skills Required:
1. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
2. Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
3, Applicants with at least 1 year of prior ICU experience will be considered first.
4. BLS or ACLS required with ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
5. Successful completion of AACN Essentials of Critical Care Course and exams within one month of employment or have proof of completion of prior critical care training.
6. RN's with previous critical care experience are required to successfully pass the Critical Care Challenge Exam with an 80%.
7. Current CCRN certification fulfills requirement of challenge exam.
8. Completion of PALS for assigned ICU RN within two years.
9. Completion of TNCC (Trauma Nurse Care Course) or TCAR (Trauma Care After Resuscitation) within one year.
10. Meets requirements of physical/pre-placement screening.
As applicable, the individual has training/competency in attending to the special needs and/or behaviors appropriate to the age of the patients for which care is being provided.
On-call: Not required.

Think you've got the talent to lead over 100 peeps and oversea the business side of the entertainment department?! This someone will help us execute & deliver our uniquely Virgin entertainment experiences that were creating for our sailors. Just a heads up, this is not a cruise directors gig!
In other words, this someone needs to know how to Make Ship Happen. Your excellent leadership, attention to detail and self-starter mentality means you can think quick on your feet and keep calm when ship gets real. Ultimately, we wont be able to remember how we got by without you. This is a seagoing position onboard our Lady Ships.
What You'll be Up To:
- Lead 100+ diverse peeps in the entertainment department; think management, cast, entertainment staff, musicians, technicians, and guest artists
- Oversea the creation and operation of the daily entertainment schedule
- Be the steward of the department's budget and collaborate with our crew here @HQ
- Oversea the deployment of all digital content around Scarlet
- Be part of our onboard Senior Leadership team and help us bring our Epic Sea Change to life
Superpowers Required:
- Minimum of 7 years experience as a manager in the entertainment industry with a wide knowledge of many genres of performance
- Minimum 2 years experience in the Cruise Industry
- Experience running a department and managing large groups of people
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Expert knowledge of theatrical/event jobs
- Rock solid coordination, admin and organization skills
- Experience in the management of large scale budgets
- A self-starter, who can roll up their sleeves and make ship happen with little supervision
- Ability to move mountains without relying on others to do the heavy lifting
- Work experience outside of the United States, in cross cultural settings, preferred
- Bachelors degree in production, theater or management preferred
