Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Nights, 4x10hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Mar 30, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Charleston, SC, requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience and availability for overnight shifts with on-call responsibilities.
Details Work setting is a Cardiac Cath Lab within a 313-bed Level II Trauma Center hospital in Charleston, SC Cardiac Cath Lab consists of 2 labs averaging 10 cases daily Procedures performed include LHC, PCI, TAVR, PPM, Impella, and IABP Primary equipment used is GE X-ray Documentation systems include Maclab and Meditech Shift hours are 9:00 PM
- 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday On-call requirement of 7-9 call days per month, including at least 1 weekend call Weekend rotation required (every other weekend) Holiday rotation required alongside hospital staff Requirements Active RN license — SC state license or compact license required BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start) Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience required Proficiency in emergency medication knowledge required US SSN and date of birth required for consideration One professional reference required (two references required if licensed in Florida or Missouri) No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Scrubs are provided by the facility The hospital is a Level II Trauma Center and holds Chest Pain Center accreditation from the American College of Cardiology and Stroke Center accreditation from The Joint Commission Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible Charleston, SC offers a vibrant coastal lifestyle with rich history, cultural attractions, and outdoor activities American Traveler Job ID P-679132.
