Qualifications:

• 6+ years' experience in Labor and Employment
• Preference for candidates coming from mid-to-large firms and top law school programs
• Strong job tenure and academic credentials
• Must have significant traditional labor experience (i.e., experience dealing with unions, collective bargaining, NLRB matters, labor arbitrations, etc.) and be capable of handling a wide range of traditional labor matters from day one in this role.
• Must have had meaningful responsibility for employment-related counseling, transactional drafting, and litigation matters (single plaintiff and collective/class actions), including issues involving hiring and separation, wage and hour, EEO, non-compete and trade secrets, employment policies, agreements and handbook reviews, due diligence for corporate transactions, employee accommodations and leave issues, investigations, and other employment law issues.

The Role:

• Manage Plaintiff-side Labor & Employment cases from intake through resolution.

• Active California Bar required.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $160,000 and $300,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities of the Labor & Delivery RN:

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including OR preparation and recovery
• Monitor fetal heart tones, maternal vitals, and labor progression
• Administer medications and manage epidural and induction protocols
• Collaborate closely with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and NICU teams
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and escalate concerns appropriately
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

Requirements of the Labor & Delivery RN:

• Active NJ RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• BLS and NRP required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Strong clinical assessment skills and comfort managing high-acuity obstetric patients
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education abilities

RNs working this unit will be expected to take shifts in both the Boise and Nampa Family Maternity Units as needed.

• Prior nursing experience desired, preferably in LDRP

• Must have an RN license in the state of Idaho prior to hire date. If multistate license, must establish residency with Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days of hire.

• Must provide licensure or proof of application in the state of Oregon for RN license within 90 days of hire

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification

• ACLS and NRP required or obtained within six months of hire date

• PALS, STABLE and NCC-EFM certifications required or obtained within one year of hire date
