Job Summary

As a Cake Decorator, you are responsible for maintaining a full display of "Signature" ice cream cakes and fulfilling custom guest orders. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, a steady hand for piping, and the ability to work efficiently in a cold environment. While you are primarily "behind the scenes," you may occasionally assist at the front counter during peak hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Production & Assembly: Build ice cream cakes, cupcakes, and cookie sandwiches from scratch using Cold Stones proprietary recipes and templates.

• Inventory Management: Monitor display freezer levels to ensure a diverse variety of 12+ Signature cakes (e.g., Midnight Delight, Cake Batter Confetti) are always available.
• Quality & Sanitation: Maintain a "sparkling clean" cake station. Follow strict food safety and labeling protocols to ensure product freshness.
• Order Management: Professionally handle phone and in-person cake consultations, documenting specific guest requests accurately to ensure 100% satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Artistic Flair: Ability to pipe clean borders, create buttercream flowers, and write legibly on frozen surfaces.

Job Responsibilities

• Constantly stay on top of new product knowledge and procedures, such as product information by category, special orders, cake program, portion control, seasonal items and mixing colors.
• Ice and decorate cakes by taking prepared icing and applying to cake using spatulas and icing bags.
• Prepare icing and products for all cakes and other decorated items by reading recipes, measuring ingredients, and mixing product.
• Assist in maintaining Bakery backroom, cooler and freezer efficiency by unloading deliveries.
• Operate department equipment, including mixers, scales, airbrush gun, knives, cut gloves and personal protective equipment (anti-slip shoes).
• Assist in other areas as required.

What You’ll Do As a District Sales Representative

• The District Sales Representative is responsible for customer development, customer relations and communication with independent wholesale distributors and retailers. Provide sales assistance to distributors and assist them with growing sales of snack cake products.

Responsibilities Of a District Sales Representative

• Build strong business relationships with each independent distributor in the district through sales assistance.
• Recruit and appoint quality candidates for distributorships.
• Offer quality orientation to new independent distributors.
• Act as liaison between McKee Foods and independent distributors.
• Develop good relationships with retailers in the district.
• Gain authorizations for products/product lines, space and promotions with retailers.
• Communicate with independent distributors on a regular basis.
• Encourage and assist independent distributors with developing business plans.
• Operate a company sales territory when needed and bring the DSR balance to zero within four weeks of ending the territory.
• Assist Distributor Accounts and Retail Accounts Receivable.
• Comply with FSO practices and procedures.
• Operate a company vehicle on a daily basis.
• Communicate job information to accomplish work tasks.
• Exercise personal safety on the job and demonstrate a commitment to the safety of others and our products.

What You’ll Need As a District Sales Representative

• 2+ years of account management and or sales leadership experience in the food & beverage or grocery industry.
• Territory includes St. Petersburg, Riverview, Bradenton, Sarasota, Palmetto, Siesta Key, Osprey, Laurel, Nokomis, Wauchula, Avon Park. Job holder required to live within the district or willing and able to relocate upon job acceptance.
• Ability to develop accounts and build rapport with new and existing clients and distributors.
• Solid MS Office Skills.
• Ability to work from home.
• Early riser – days typically start at 4:00 AM
• Clear driver’s record.
