This role is critical to improving collaboration, delegation, and operational rigor across accounting and finance.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and in the weeds, comfortable stepping into day-to-day execution while building scalable processes, delegating & coaching a team, and partnering cross-functionally with Finance, Revenue Ops, Legal, and Leadership.

1.

Overseeing all aspects of accounting operations including month end close, revenue recognition ASC 606, billing, invoicing, contract management, intercompany transactions, audits, compliance & financial reporting.

2.

Manage and develop a team of ~5 accounting professionals, improving delegation, communication, and performance.

3.

Lead external audits and ensure readiness for annual audit cycles.

4.

Streamlining customer contracts and managing cash flow in accordance with US GAAP.

5.

Preparing and presenting financial statements, managing audits, and interacting with auditors to provide assurance.

6.

Improve and formalize accounting processes to support a growing, complex business.

7.

Utilizing ERP's, HRIS systems and other technologies to optimize financial operations and reporting.

Serve as a collaborative leader who is accessible, communicative, and proactive Qualifications
* 10+ years of experience
* Hands-on experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition
* Direct experience working with Big 4 auditors, with ownership of audit support and discussions
*Experience leading or supporting billing process improvements or system changes
*Demonstrated success improving or shortening the month-end close process
*Proven experience mentoring, developing, and scaling high-performing accounting teams
