About the Role

Our client in the wellness space is looking for a full time Marketing Administration Assistant to join their team! This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to start a career in marketing. You will support the CMO and the marketing team by coordinating projects, managing schedules, and handling administrative tasks. You will help keep marketing initiatives organized and moving forward in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track and manage marketing projects and cross-functional tasks using Wrike
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, take notes, and distribute action items
  • Maintain organized project files and shared resources in Microsoft 365
  • Follow up on outstanding items and help keep the team accountable to deadlines
  • Provide general administrative support to the CMO and marketing team

The Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering is seeking to strengthen its industrial and professional expertise to better support student education and faculty research. To that end, the school is looking to hire a Professor of the Practice with substantial industry experience. This individual will help foster industry collaborations and build coordinated research and educational activities across the school's key areas of emphasis: Energy, Health, Transportation, Advanced Manufacturing, Intelligent Systems, and National Security.



Responsibilities

Specific duties for this Professor of the Practice position includes, but are not limited to:

  • Develop industrial connections with ME faculty to boost industry funded research and education
  • Help identify connections to industry for icro credentialing
  • Help develop professional education courses and modules in the areas of emphasis: Energy, Health, Transportation, Advanced Manufacturing, Intelligent Systems, and National Security.

  • System Installation: Execute large-scale electrical installations including switchgear, transformers, and commercial power distribution systems.
  • Conduit Mastery: Expertly bend and install EMT, IMC, and Rigid conduit up to 4" using mechanical and hydraulic benders.
  • Blueprint Proficiency: Accurately interpret complex multi-layered schematics, one-line diagrams, and floor plans for precise layout.
  • Feeder & Branch Wiring: Lead the pulling and termination of large-gauge feeders and branch circuits in a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Code Compliance: Ensure all rough-in and finish work meets 2023 NEC standards and specific Dallas building codes.

Summary of the position:
The Assembler position requires an individual to perform several duties as defined within the Assembly family.
This position is located at Hitachi Global Air Power in Michigan City, Indiana, and reports to the Value Stream Leader.
Duties and responsibilities:

  • Assemble compressors in assigned area using Work Center Instructions (WCI), Piping & Instrumentation instructions (P&I), Wiring Diagram (WD) and Bill of Material (BOM) and assembly drawings.
  • Apply decals to machines, as needed.
  • Utilize Andon signals per guidelines.
  • Measure, cut, bend, fit small tubing to machine. Install tubing and fittings using hyferset.
  • Install foam insulation on tubing and controls.
  • Install heat trace tape to tubing and controls AND/OR bend large tubing with power bender per print or custom fit (Industrial).
  • Assemble frames in assigned area, per BOM, or WCI.
  • Assemble separator tanks in assigned area, using BOM, P&I or WCI.
  • Assemble components to engines in assigned area, per BOM or WCI.
  • Connect motor leads and connectors to power source per WD and BOM.
  • Wire machines or packages, terminating wire harnesses or basic wiring in assigned area, per WD.

Education:
