BGS is seeking a Computer Hardware and Integration Engineer within Government Training Engineering (GTE) in Hazelwood, MO or Oklahoma City, OK. The GTE Hardware Design team is responsible for the design and development of aircrew & maintenance training devices.

A successful candidate will have the ability to maintain and evolve computing standards, support hardware design and integration for onboard computer systems, crew station I/O, networking, video processing, and cockpit displays, and serve as a centralized technical resource for computer-related issues across programs. This role coordinates with suppliers on new designs and obsolescence management, supports acquisition and production engineering activities, and acts as the subject matter expert for computational systems used across all GTE training platforms.   1. Review daily SMT or build schedule to ensure process readiness.
  2. Confirm all required items are complete and available prior to production:

  4. Manufacturing Process Instruction (MPI) reviewed and approved.
  5. Routing definitions for data collection.
  6. Validated reflow or wave solder profiles.

Capable of tactfully managing relationships with stakeholders to achieve company-desired outcomes without compromising relationships. Emails, IMs and verbal interactions are logical, drive clarity, and detailed enough to eliminate ambiguity.
