The Operations Manager- Construction is responsible for leading internal office operations, administrative infrastructure, and HR oversight within a growing construction company. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong judgment, confidence, and the ability to enforce standards while building scalable systems.
This position reports directly to ownership and operates with significant autonomy.
The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs. REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in Operations Management, HR Management, or Office Leadership within a small to mid-sized business
- Experience in construction, trades, or field-based service industries strongly REQUIRED
- Proven experience administering progressive discipline and handling performance management independently
- Hands-on experience with onboarding, offboarding, leave management, and employee documentation
- Working knowledge of California labor law and compliance requirements
- Experience building or improving internal processes and SOPs
Core Responsibilities
Office Operations Leadership
- Establish and enforce attendance, performance, and workplace standards

Human Resources Administration
