Success Profile:

The Senior Technical Designer for Dresses is responsible for ensuring that design vision is translated into a well-constructed and manufacturable garment that reflects brand’s esthetics and design integrity. Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage product lifecycle from Showroom sample through pre-production fit approval.
  • Oversee pre-production samples development, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality standards.
  • Develop comprehensive technical packages, to final full graded specifications. Determine necessary corrections, utilize garment patterns effectively to achieve the desired fit, silhouette, and style.
  • Lead live fit sessions to evaluate and refine fit, construction, and quality. Execute fit comments in a timely manner to ensure the fit process remains aligned with production timelines and objectives. Provide grading guidelines to vendors after fit approval, ensure that grading is executed accurately to preserve the integrity of the design and fit across all sizes.
  • Partner successfully with Product Development, Design and Production teams to ensure fit and product development process stays in line with production and action timelines. Create and manages WIP report for development tracking and garment delivery


Education and Experience:

  • 7+ years of Technical Design experience
  • College degree, or equivalent professional work experience, required

What You Will Do

Leverage experience to work directly with a wide range of Las Vegas-area nonprofits to help clarify and implement organizational strategies. As an example, you may work closely with a nonprofit founder to assess the core capacities of the organization, identify 2-3 key growth opportunities, develop an actionable plan to address the opportunities, then provide ongoing implementation support for 12 months.   • Strong coaching and convening skills.  
  • Comfortable and confident in presenting to groups, and able to make complex topics feel accessible.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cost savings/value driving projects across multiple indirect sourcing categories based on historical and forecasted spend.
  • Establish annual savings targets with Business Partners in support of business goals.
