Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital proudly serves the health care needs of families in St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren counties. The 102-bed community hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, the Breast Health and Women’s Center, the Cardiology Center, the Neurosurgery Center and the Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy Center.
Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital is an Accredited Chest Pain Center and carries a Level II stroke certification. Additionally, the hospital’s medical office building houses offices for specialists in primary care, cardiology, obstetrics, dermatology, surgery and pulmonology. Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital also offers outpatient services including physical therapy, a sleep lab, and cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation.

The 2100 Inpatient Unit at BJWCH consists of Orthopedic, Spine, Urological, and Plastic Surgery patients. We are a short-stay unit that strives to provide our patients with an exceptional post-operative experience in order for them to discharge home safely.
Overview
Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment and is known for outstanding patient care. With 64 private patient rooms, 14 operating rooms and four intensive care unit rooms, the facility was designed to provide a comforting environment that is innovative, efficient and centered on the patient experience. The campus features a park-like setting with landscaping and a walking path that winds through the grounds and connects to Millennium Park.
Med/Surg 2 manages patients with Orthopedic, Spine, Urological, Plastics and other general post-surgical conditions. Because of our patient acuity, we provide advanced training to maintain nurses at the highest level of functioning. The unit is led by a clinical manager and lead charge nurse. Additionally, the unit works in collaboration with a case manager, social worker, physical therapist, dietitian, and pharmacist. This multidisciplinary team works in conjunction with the physicians, nurses, and patient care technicians to provide quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service and tend to customers in a prompt, efficient, friendly manner.
Crosstrain in deli, cafe, bakery, and cashier duties.
Ensure all fresh food items are in stock and meet quality standards.
Follow all food safety and dating procedures.
Follow proper guidelines for food preparation, cash handling, timekeeping, sanitation, and all other procedures.
Train new Team Members.
Sweep, mop, empty trash and clean as necessary, including restrooms.
Attend all mandatory/scheduled store meetings.
Keep up to date on new policies and procedures.
Maintain appearance and uniform standards.
Adhere to loss prevention guidelines.

General Position SummaryOur retail salespeople are the heartbeat and energy of the Lids brand.
