Summary: The Surgical Technologist I works under the supervision of a surgeon and registered nurse to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.

Job Summary:

The Mammography Technologist performs mammographic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and management of breast diseases. Key Responsibilities:

• MQSA Compliance: Must meet MQSA guidelines, including having 40 hours of initial training in mammography, performing at least 200 mammograms in the last 24 months, and completing the required continuing education (15 CE credits in 36 months).
• BLS/CPR Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in mammography, including digital mammography and tomosynthesis.

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Mechanical & Controls Technician, capable of installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, minor programming, and repair of electrical, mechanical, and automated control systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment. The Surgical Technologist, in collaboration with the surgical team and under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, assumes responsibility for the care and safety of the perioperative patient, instrumentation, supplies, and equipment during surgical and other invasive and non-invasive procedures. The Surgical Technologist ensures effective communication with the circulator, the surgeon, the patient and their family, as well as the other members of the surgical team.
