Collin County is seeking candidates for the position of Building Projects Coordinator. A Building Projects Coordinator is responsible for, but not limited to, planning County construction, renovations, and modification projects. Work is performed under the direction of the Building Projects Manager

Primary Functions

• Preparing paperwork, evaluating and recommending bid awards for construction, renovation, and modification projects.
• Ensuring all permits are acquired and codes are met.
• Preparing designs, specifications, project manuals and schedules, and coordinating activities with architects and consultants.
• Facilitating projects by monitoring progress, supervising contractors, performing inspections, preparing reports, managing the computer system, and evaluating funds needed for projects.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess the knowledge necessary to understand basic operational, technical, and office processes.
• Must have at least six (6) months of advanced study or training past the high school equivalency.
• Must have at least three (3) years of related experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Operator’s Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.

Starting Salary: $74,433 per year

The New York State Unified Court System is seeking a Senior Assistant Building Superintendent in the Court of Appeals in Albany, NY. The Senior Assistant Building Superintendent works under the supervision of the Deputy Building Superintendent and is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of the Court of Appeals building and grounds and for security in the Court of Appeals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising subordinate staff in maintenance and repair techniques and inspecting their work.
• Performing repairs of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment.
• Making carpentry, masonry, plastering and painting repairs.
• Moving office furniture, equipment, and other items.

We are looking for a skilled Building Engineer to perform technical and mechanical functions for the purpose of operating property plant and equipment to achieve maximum energy efficiency, cost effectiveness, and engineering services to the building and its tenants. This person will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of all assigned buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with all EPA, OSHA & ASHRAE rules, requirements, procedures and industry and Company safety guidelines.
• Perform all necessary preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire control and building management systems; conduct monthly maintenance inspections as assigned and completing them on time
• Conduct site inspections to include roof, mechanical & electrical rooms as assigned

Desired Competency, Experience and Skills:

• Training and certification in HVAC or Operating Engineer technologies and/or job-related training and experience
• 2 years of field experience or equivalent technical training

• Ability to work independently with routine supervision
