Scope:
The Technician, Research and Development provides support for LWE, Sweetener, Coffee, Tea and Concentrate projects; and Shelf Life program; compounds formulas accurately, take physical analytical measurements and prepares and executes daily sensory panels and/or shelf life evaluations in accordance with written or oral instructions; maintains controls for the plant and R&D group, assists with data management, analysis and reporting; maintains inventory of samples for sensory and shelf life studies and may support other product development initiatives as requested. The duties in this position are expected to evolve over time as a result of the company’s growth and expansion into new technologies.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
• Follows detailed instructions and works independently with light supervision.
• Collects, manages and maintains sensory or shelf life inventory. Includes sample receipt, labeling, placement in appropriate environment, removal at defined intervals for stability testing and archiving/disposal of samples at end of study.
• Monitors stability chambers and chart recorders to confirm environmental conditions are maintained within established specifications; maintains physical and electronic shelf life testing files and database following established procedures.
• Executes daily sensory panels including set-up, entering electronic ballots, serving samples, monitoring panelists and clean-up.
• Compounds formulations accurately and routinely.
• Maintains ingredients in the lab to quickly and easily compound formulas.
• Maintains approved controls for the R&D group and for the plant
• Maintains the flavor library of LWE concentrates for the R&D group.
• Conducts routine chemical, physical, nutrient or stability analyses of samples following established protocols.
• Maintains physical and electronic analysis files and databases; applies statistical principles and assists in preparing reports communicating test results; reports atypical results or deviations to supervisor and initiates investigation and retesting if appropriate.
• Prepares and submits samples for outside testing, monitors progress and records results in database.
• Develops reviews and updates relevant SOP’s.
• Responsible for food safety and food quality of samples handled by:
o Following GMP’s, maintaining sanitary conditions, adhering to safe work practices and ensuring that product quality is maintained.
o Reporting any conditions or practices that may adversely impact food safety, food quality or personal safety to supervisor.
• Maintains consistent attendance; must have flexibility to work extended hours or off shifts if required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science preferred, Nutrition, Chemistry, Biology or related field acceptable on a case by case basis.
• Minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience with ability to calibrate and operate standard food lab equipment required or lab experience during undergraduate studies.
• Excellent mathematical skills and knowledge of, or ability to learn, statistical analysis required.
• Computer literacy including competency with Microsoft Office and demonstrated ability to operate complex software programs required.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English required.

A core goal of the position is to prepare you to apply to and succeed in PhD programs in marketing, economics, management, operations or related fields. We will work together to develop your research skills — beginning with careful research workflow and attention to detail, and progressing toward more independent analysis over time. We will also collaborate on other elements of your preparation, including independent research, letters of recommendation, and coursework planning. You will be encouraged to attend seminars and engage with the broader research community at MIT Sloan and across MIT.
You do not need to arrive with a polished skill set; the purpose of a predoc is to also help you develop that training. What matters most is a genuine interest in these research questions, a willingness to learn, and the determination to see difficult problems through.

Qualifications
- A college degree is preferred
- Freestanding restaurant experience necessary or luxury hotel experience a plus

About the role:
The Office Assistant has to ensure day-to-day office tasks, functions and deliverables are being managed. This role requires being hands-on, executing best practices to ensure efficiency is always forefront. Daily functions include distributing mail, managing kitchen and supply inventory, purchasing, coordinating office events, assisting IT with various tasks, connecting with vendors, and making recommendations.
What you’ll do:
- Assist with catering requests, orders, and delivery
- Plans, schedules, prioritizes and assists with maintenance staff
- Assist with inventory and purchases for office supplies
- Weekly\Daily Maintenance Schedule
- Being present when contractors, guests, or Roundglass employees are in the office space
- Keep track of mail: sorting and distribution
- Keep track of parcels: sorting and distribution
- Track shipping and receiving (packaging and mailing). Drive to the site to deliver packages to the courier (FedEx, USPS, UPS, DHL) if needed
- Making sure that the office space/common areas are in good clean condition, which includes dusting, and ensuring that dishes are washed, and dishwashers are tended to accordingly
- Tracking of office supplies and kitchen inventory. Reporting any needs to our Program Lead
- Organize kitchen & assist our Program Lead with shelving and other duties
- Make sure that coffee, tea, and freshwater containers are available. Replace when necessary. If needed immediately make trips to the store for replacement
- Manage supplies: tissue papers, toilet rolls, office supplies, cartridge inks, printer paper, wipes, shampoo/conditioner, soaps.etc.
- Collaborate with occasional office events and coordination (catering set-up, clean-up, placing orders)
- Attend weekly meetings, if necessary, execute the task by utilizing
- Assist in the setup of the brand-new office, which includes various tasks
- Other duties as assigned

Pay & Benefits:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $18-$25/hour. Compensation offered will be determined by level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for a bonus incentive as part of a full salary package. Position Summary:
The Senior Director of Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) Programs is a critical, leadership role responsible for the successful academic and operational oversight of the entire Pre-K network across 150 sites. This position ensures high-quality, developmentally appropriate early childhood education for all students by leading curriculum, instruction, assessment, and compliance, while also managing key operational functions such as enrollment, facilities, and staff management to guarantee program efficacy and scalability.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
- Experience:
Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive leadership experience in early childhood education, with at least 3 years managing programs across multiple sites (network or district level).
Expertise in child development, developmentally appropriate practices, and Pre-K state/national standards.
Demonstrated success in managing complex operational functions (e.g., enrollment, compliance, facilities) within an educational setting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

Assessment & Accountability:
Establish a system for formative and summative assessment of student progress, utilizing data to drive instructional improvements and ensuring kindergarten readiness.
Monitor and evaluate the academic performance of all Pre-K sites, providing targeted support and interventions where necessary.
Professional Development:
Design and deliver targeted, ongoing professional development for Pre-K instructional staff (teachers, assistant teachers, instructional coaches) on curriculum, classroom management, and child development.
Coach and mentor site-based Pre-K leadership to build their capacity for instructional supervision.
- Operational Management and Compliance
Enrollment & Outreach:
Develop and execute strategic plans to meet and maintain target enrollment goals across all Pre-K sites.
Collaborate with the marketing team on outreach campaigns targeting families and community partners.
Compliance & Licensing:
Ensure all Pre-K programs are in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and funding mandates (e.g., Head Start, state-funded Pre-K).
Oversee collection of progress monitoring data per TEA requirements (CLI)
Oversee the management of facility standards, including health, safety, and physical environment checks, to maintain optimal learning spaces.
Budget & Resource Management:
Manage the network-wide Pre-K program budget, including allocation of resources for curriculum materials, technology, and staffing.
Oversee MOUs related to site management structures.
- Staff Leadership and Management
Talent:
Work to recruit and hire quality applicants and oversee retention strategies for Pre-K teachers and staff.
Maintain a system for performance management, including feedback, evaluations and goal-setting, for all direct reports and provide guidance for site-level staff evaluations.
Collaboration:
Serve as the primary liaison between the Pre-K programs and other Home Office departments (e.g., HR, Finance, Special Education).
Cultivate strong relationships with families, community organizations, and external partners to support program goals.
