About the Role
We are looking for a National Account Manager, Amazon to join our expanding team. The National Account Manager, Amazon will be focused on growing the Splenda and SlimFast brands on Amazon. This role will report to the Omnichannel Director and work in collaboration with Heartlandβs marketing team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Amazon Account Management
- Responsible for Amazon sales target and P&L
- Manage and improve account profitability
- Own Amazon budget and target planning, strategy and overall account management
- Lead annual AVN and manage Vendor Manager and AVS relationship
- Approve deductions and manage TPM system
Amazon Advertising
- Strategize, implement, maintain and optimize advertising campaigns through Amazonβs Seller Central and Vendor Central accounts including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Display Advertising
- Own relationship with Amazonβs Ads team and our advertising agency
- Coordinate with Heartlandβs marketing team to promote sales on Amazon through social media campaigns, email marketing campaigns, coupon programs and incorporating Amazon into master brand marketing strategies
- Monitor and report on campaign performance including developing new reporting methods
- Implement A/B testing to refine ad copy, creative, and targeting parameters for maximum effectiveness
- Track spend and manage a large advertising budget
Amazon Catalog Management
- Work with the Digital Merchandising Manager to optimize Amazon images, video, A+ content, brand story and brand store
- Collaborate with brand management team to create compelling and conversion-focused product listings that fit into overall brand strategy
- Monitor Amazon listings and work with internal teams to fix catalog issues
- Work with commercialization team to develop products tailored to Amazon
- Manage Amazon pricing
Data Analytics
- Use data analytics tools like Helium10, Profitero and Amazonβs Brand Analytics reports to conduct keyword research, competitor research and general market research
- Use data analytics tools to track and improve keyword ranking and share of sales
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities
- Develop actionable insights to optimize product listings, pricing strategies, and advertising campaigns

Scope:
The Production Supervisor directly supervises and coordinates the activities of production and operating workers, such as packers, machine operators, and blenders. The Supervisor will be responsible for establishing and achieving production goals, fostering relationships, promoting Health and Safety and the development of a well-trained and motivated staff.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Enforces safety and sanitation regulations per food safety and quality guidelines.
- Responsible for initiating appropriate actions that address Food Safety concerns, including escalation to Quality and Management.

Scope:
The Technician, Research and Development provides support for LWE, Sweetener, Coffee, Tea and Concentrate projects; and Shelf Life program; compounds formulas accurately, take physical analytical measurements and prepares and executes daily sensory panels and/or shelf life evaluations in accordance with written or oral instructions; maintains controls for the plant and R&D group, assists with data management, analysis and reporting; maintains inventory of samples for sensory and shelf life studies and may support other product development initiatives as requested. The duties in this position are expected to evolve over time as a result of the companyβs growth and expansion into new technologies.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
β’ Follows detailed instructions and works independently with light supervision.
β’ Collects, manages and maintains sensory or shelf life inventory. Includes sample receipt, labeling, placement in appropriate environment, removal at defined intervals for stability testing and archiving/disposal of samples at end of study.
β’ Monitors stability chambers and chart recorders to confirm environmental conditions are maintained within established specifications; maintains physical and electronic shelf life testing files and database following established procedures.
β’ Executes daily sensory panels including set-up, entering electronic ballots, serving samples, monitoring panelists and clean-up.
β’ Compounds formulations accurately and routinely.
β’ Maintains ingredients in the lab to quickly and easily compound formulas.
β’ Maintains approved controls for the R&D group and for the plant
β’ Maintains the flavor library of LWE concentrates for the R&D group.
β’ Conducts routine chemical, physical, nutrient or stability analyses of samples following established protocols.
β’ Maintains physical and electronic analysis files and databases; applies statistical principles and assists in preparing reports communicating test results; reports atypical results or deviations to supervisor and initiates investigation and retesting if appropriate.
β’ Prepares and submits samples for outside testing, monitors progress and records results in database.
β’ Develops reviews and updates relevant SOPβs.
β’ Responsible for food safety and food quality of samples handled by:
o Following GMPβs, maintaining sanitary conditions, adhering to safe work practices and ensuring that product quality is maintained.
o Reporting any conditions or practices that may adversely impact food safety, food quality or personal safety to supervisor.
β’ Maintains consistent attendance; must have flexibility to work extended hours or off shifts if required.
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Food Science preferred, Nutrition, Chemistry, Biology or related field acceptable on a case by case basis.
β’ Minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience with ability to calibrate and operate standard food lab equipment required or lab experience during undergraduate studies.
β’ Excellent mathematical skills and knowledge of, or ability to learn, statistical analysis required.

The Senior Training Specialist is responsible for the planning, design, development and implementation of Heartland FPG training programs and initiatives. The Senior Training Specialist is the technical expert of Heartlandβs operation, connecting the employees with the resources necessary to be successful in their position at Heartland. This position will work closely with the Training and Development Manager to facilitate the learning and development of all team members.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Leads and directs employee training across functions and topics.
- Acts as technical expert and actively maintains knowledge in several fields such as: Operations, Quality, Facilities, and Maintenance.
- Provides technical support with regards to training & development operations, new hire orientation, in addition to meeting coordination, and plant operations.
- Foster relationships with business partners to remain aware of changes to the operation, updating content as necessary.

The engineering training intern will contribute to major team milestones for 2024 and have the chance to present project updates and proposed actions to the leadership team. Scope:
Maintenance manager for liquid division will be leading all maintenance activities to ensure reliable operation of packaging, blending and CIP systems. The maintenance manager will oversee all aspects of maintenance including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, maintenance and shutdown scheduling, spare parts strategy, equipment reliability, technical training of asset care technicians and equipment re-design.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Define propose and monitor the implementation of the companyβs maintenance and reliability objectives with key overall objectives of improving overall line efficiency and reducing unplanned downtime associated with breakdowns.
- Responsible for the maintenance/repair of all equipment in the liquid plants.
- Implement work processes and procedures related to maintenance including the management of PM and PdM programs.
- Train, develop and mentor maintenance employees to ensure future growth objectives can be accomplished. Includes troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure maintenance function operates with clear and open communications. Key technical resources for the issue escalation, MOC and project design review processes.
- Promote a continuous improvement culture by developing processes to analyze data to solve reliability problems and reduce unplanned downtime using MTTF, PM frequency, FMEA and implementing reliability initiatives
- Ensure spare parts inventory is optimized and aligned to support operations objectives.
- Protect proprietary technology through approved and certified relationships with third party companies
- Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget.

Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Engineering
- 10-15 years of progressive and diversified βMaintenance Managementβ with minimum of 5 yearsβ experience in food and beverage manufacturing.
- Strong experience in Continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, TPM, maintenance programs, equipment installation, and automation.

Scope:
The CAD Drafter will be responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining all company's CAD drawings. This role will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards of all drawings. CAD Drafter will support new capital projects and initiatives by designing new layouts and plans. This role will develop and maintain drawings' naming convention, archival folders, revisions, and the overall administrative tasks required for upkeeping an organized CAD drawing system.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares and update all plant's machine and Line layout drawings to reflect all up to date changes and modifications.
- Collaboration with a cross functional team to present ideas for the best use of space.
- Works with utilities to create drawings of the infrastructure of the plant.
- Assists the warehouse with racking and traffic flow layouts.
- Support capital projects team to review and ensure accuracy of all new drawings such as construction drawings, electrical drawings, P&IDs, equipment layout, etc.
- Update existing drawings and double check measurements for accuracy.
- Develops and maintains a system to store, access and revise drawings.
- Creates, modifies and ensures that drawings are compliant with the required standards.
- Work closely with other departments and engineers.
- Report about the progress of the design development.
- Circulate the drawings to the design or construction team for their further review and upon review, integrate the received comments through issuance of reviewed drawings.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer Aided Drafting (CAD), Design or related technical degree.
- A minimum of three years' experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CAD) with ability to work with 2D and 3D models.

SUMMARY
The Indirect Buyer is responsible for purchasing Indirect equipment, goods, and services utilized by Heartland's plant, warehouse, and corporate office. The Indirect Buyer converts purchase requisitions submitted by internal stakeholders into purchase orders (PO's), confirming items have been sourced utilizing preferred suppliers at a competitive cost and conform to Heartland's policies. Highly analytical, the Indirect Buyer reviews changes in pricing over time and negotiates discounts for general office and consumable expenditures with preferred suppliers. Motivated to minimize the costs of Heartland's production overhead costs, the Indirect Buyer will work with stakeholders to ensure optimal supplier pricing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure Supply from Competitive Sources
- Research potential suppliers, establish and maintain strong relationships, and monitor performance utilizing historical data on basis of quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
- Process purchase orders for a wide range of indirect goods and services, including maintenance, repair, IT, marketing, merchandise, and operating supplies.
- Secure the best possible prices and terms including discounts and rebates from suppliers.
- Participate in cost-saving initiatives and implement strategies to reduce expenses.
- Work with internal departments including Facilities, Engineering, and Operations to support each department's procurement needs.
- Enter goods receipts (GRN) for equipment and services in Megamation and Heartland's ERP system as equipment is received or services are completed.
- Foster and maintain productive and positive working relationships with suppliers.
Process Support
- Maintain contractor Certificate of Insurance copies monitoring expiration dates for current contractors.
- Collect new supplier documentation and coordinate system setup with Finance.
- Communicate updates to Heartland's preferred suppliers, supply policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with supply policies and procedures, including ethical and legal guidelines.
Issue Resolution
- Investigate and resolve price variances from PO to invoice with Accounts Payable and suppliers.
- Escalate delivery delays or quality issues to PO requestors for assistance to mitigate supply gaps.
- Identify purchase requisition non-conformances to Heartland's policies and guidelines, escalating gaps to leadership as needed.
Data Governance
- Set up and maintain accurate sourcing-specific Master Data for inventoried stock codes in Heartland's centralized ERP system (material package size, order quantities, artwork/ die line details, warehouse codes, product classification).
- Review the minimum/maximum quantity calculations for inventoried stock codes weekly and update the ERP system minimum/maximum values where there are changes.
- Close purchase orders in ERP system after all open items have been received.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel to interpret data, identify trends, and support decisionβmaking.

Scope:
The Logistics Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing freight movement to achieve 100% on-time delivery while minimizing costs. This position serves as the primary point of contact for shipment status, proactively manages and optimizes the carrier base (performance, relationship and reliability), handles routing of customer freight, and delivers actionable insights through advanced Excel analytics and Microsoft Power BI reporting. Strong emphasis is placed on E2Open TMS proficiency, data-driven decision making, and continuous process improvement.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Shipment Tracking, Tendering & Routing
- Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in E2Open Transportation Management System (formerly BluJay) to plan, tender, track, and optimize shipments.
- Proactively monitor customer orders and route collect/vendor shipments to ensure optimal carrier selection, cost efficiency, and on-time performance.
- Manage suspected late shipments, expedite as needed, and communicate directly with carriers and Customer Service to protect delivery dates and adjust appointments/POs.
- Obtain competitive quotes, tender shipments, and ensure all deliveries fall within the Must-Arrive-By-Date (MABD) window.
- Communicate customer policies (appointment requirements, etc.) and forecasted demand to carriers to secure capacity.
- Review shipping requirements for new customers and approve expedited/detention charges.
- File freight claims and complete new carrier onboarding documentation as required.
Carrier Performance & Relationship Management
- Maintain carrier scorecards, tracking key metrics including on-time delivery (OTD), tender acceptance rates, damage/shortage frequency, invoice accuracy, and capacity reliability.
- Analyze carrier performance data to identify underperformers, top performers, and opportunities for network optimization (e.g., lane consolidation, preferred carrier programs).
- Develop and present carrier performance reports/dashboards (in Power BI/Excel) to support quarterly business reviews and strategic sourcing decisions.
- Identify trends in carrier spend, service levels, and market conditions to recommend additions, removals, or renegotiations within the carrier base.
Customer Service & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Customer Service on order delays and proactively extend POs or modify appointments before orders become late.
- Reconcile freight-related short pays with Accounts Payable and resolve invoice discrepancies with Accounts Receivable.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations on freight analysis, cost modeling, and customer-specific routing strategies.
Analytics, Reporting and Process Improvement
- Build and maintain dynamic reports using data from E2Open TMS in various platforms: advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, macros, data modeling), and Microsoft Power BI.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, process roadblocks, and scalability improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data-backed recommendations.
Additional Support
- Coordinate daily customer orders with Warehouse Operations.
- Manage and maintain the internal shuttle fleet schedule and activities.

Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, or related field.
- 2+ years of logistics experience, including hands-on work with a Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills β expert in data analysis, modeling, pivot tables, lookups, and automation.
