GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Senior Director of Benefits is responsible for developing and leading a comprehensive benefits strategy, the design, and administration of all associates benefit programs that supports organizational goals and enhances associate experience. This role ensures that benefits offerings are competitive, innovative, cost-effective, compliant, and aligned with the company's Total Rewards philosophy and business objectives. The Senior Director will partner closely with HR leadership, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to deliver programs that attract, retain, and engage top talent in the industry.

This leader will manage and develop a high-performing benefits team, and will foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer service.

The Senior Director will report to the Senior Vice President of Total Rewards and will interact frequently with Executives across the Company.


The base salary range for this role is $152,200 - $241,700. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

β€’ Evaluate new programs and market trends for potential application to Ross. Assess the competitiveness of all programs and practices against industry standards and comparable companies to ensure competitive positioning of benefits programs.

β€’ Establish annual priorities and overall benefits strategic direction, ensuring that all benefits and retirement programs are aligned with the Company's annual and long-term strategic objectives. Provide the tactical strategy to implement new benefits programs and ensure efficient ongoing operations of existing programs.

β€’ Lead and develop team of benefits professionals focused on health and welfare, wellness, and retirement programs strategy, design and administration.

β€’ Partner in selection and management of relationships with vendors, brokers and carriers, including monitoring of cost, service levels, processes, and accuracy of data.

o Monitor administrative costs and pricing of benefit programs and recommend cost-containment strategies.

o Evaluate effectiveness of medical management and other benefits programs.

β€’ Oversee outsourced administration and operations of benefit and retirement plan.

β€’ Oversee the effective communication of the Company's employee benefits plans and programs to optimize impact and understanding.

β€’ Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ACA etc.; keep up-to-date on legal and legislative issues related to all benefit and retirement plans and maintain accurate documentation and reporting for audits and regulatory requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

Executive Support (60%)

  • Manage the Executive Director’s (ED’s) calendar, scheduling, prioritization, and daily and periodic logistics.
  • Serve as the primary administrative contact for the ED; screen and route communications, requests, and inquiries, ensuring timely responses and discretion with sensitive matters.
  • Track tasks, correspondence, and follow-up action items to support executive priorities; provide prompts for the ED to follow-up, as needed.
  • Prepare the ED for meetings, engagements, and presentations by coordinating materials, talking points, background information, draft slide decks, and briefings.
  • Draft, edit, and format professional correspondence and communications.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and maintain organized filing systems for the ED’s projects and records.
  • Maintain key calendars related to governance, stewardship, partner organizations and member Tribes events, and grants to ensure that the ED has timely access to critical dates and deadlines.

Internal Operations and Organizational Coordination (15%)

  • Manage meeting logistics for the office, as directed, including scheduling, calendar invites, attendance tracking, meeting packets, communications, venue reservation and set-up, meals, audio-visual set-up, and follow-up.
  • Maintain internal systems, including contact lists, shared calendars, dashboards, and directories.
  • Maintain and improve administrative systems, processes, and documentation to enhance organizational efficiency.
  • As directed by the ED, support internal team culture by coordinating onboarding and internal communications.

Board and Governance Support (10%)

  • Coordinate logistics, and scheduling for Executive Board and committee meetings, retreats, and orientations.
  • Prepare meeting materials that include draft agendas, talking points, presentation slides, and collating background information.
  • Prepare, archive, and track Board documentation such as agendas, minutes, reports, and follow-up actions.
  • Provide administrative support to Board members, including travel arrangements, reimbursements, and other requests.
  • As directed, assist the ED with coordination of special projects in collaboration with Tribal leaders of ATNI member Tribes, ATNI Committee Co-Chairs, and other high-priority partners.
  • Take notes and develop draft meeting minutes.

Event and Project Support (10%)

  • Support the ED by facilitating communications with Member Tribes and dignitaries to ensure timely distribution of event announcements, updates, and related communications.
  • Assist with strategic projects by conducting background research and preparing materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, support, and document project activities and deliverables.
  • Provide operational assistance to ATNI staff as directed by the ED.

Other Duties as Assigned (5%)

  • ATNI is a growing organization. You may occasionally be asked to support ATNI activities that are outside of this position description.

Work Conditions

The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Configuration Management/Data Quality & Distribution organization has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level (Level 3) or Senior (Level 4) Mid-Level or Senior Safety & Airworthiness Support to join our team in Everett, WA.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Analyzes data gathered from identified sources, identifies discrepancies and works with responsible organizations to resolve.
  • Manages the change process. Integrates and coordinates design and configuration data required for certifications and/or flight clearance notices.
  • Collects, organizes, synthesizes and analyzes data to support and guide business decisions. Summarizes findings.
  • Performs configuration verification audits.
  • Supports generation of product configuration data required for certifications and flight clearance notices.
  • Supports the development of certification plans and deliverables for approval by regulatory representatives
  • Collaborates with cert specialist across multiple functions to support cert activity.
  • Β Supports the daily development of data packages, metrics, and deliverables in support of certify and delivering commercial aircraft.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • Level 3: 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Level 4: 6+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong cross‑functional integration experience (working with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, or customer support).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience engaging with senior/executive leadership and conveying information clearly.
  • Experience leading cross-disciplinary teams in large organizations.
  • Proven ability to support projects and drive plans to closure.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • Previous experience with regulatory compliance in aerospace or related industries.
  • Familiarity with 14 CFR Part 25 requirements and experience interacting with regulators.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and drive plans to closure.
  • Desired tool familiarity: DCCS, ETAC, etc.
  • Knowledge of baseline major/minor model and options documentation (e.g., configuration specification, customer detailed specifications, standard selections document).
  • Knowledge of drawing/data systems (e.g., ""used on"" drawings, part relationships, product data management) and configuration management principles and processes (e.g., part number control, revision level, naming conventions, product identification numbering systems).
  • Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines (e.g., design, test, software, technology, avionics). Knowledge of the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-engineering processes (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Business).
