The Specifics of the Role

  • Lead or support process definition and design efforts for life sciences manufacturing facilities from early planning through construction support.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting at least one major life sciences manufacturing modality, such as:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consistently deliver quality and timely work products to the project team.
  • Develop emissions inventories for facilities. Review state and Federal environmental regulations and expand environmental consulting knowledge.
  • Efficiently provide accurate technical calculations, effective written communication, and utilization of spreadsheets and databases to contribute to project deliverables.
  • Prepare technical reports in support of environmental permits.
  • Analyze and translate data for modeling support.
  • Provide direct project support to colleagues of varying career levels.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and technical skills; coordinate with team members the review of project deliverables to ensure project compliance with the quality assurance process.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two to five years of experience in consulting, or the environmental field, and understanding of industry manufacturing processes preferred.
  • Engineering or applicable environmental/science degree and an interest in environmental consulting.
  • Strong organizational, technical calculations, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines by independently managing priorities and workflows.

We’re partnering with a leading innovator in energy storage and renewable technology to hire a Systems Deployment Engineer supporting cutting-edge infrastructure across utility-scale energy projects.

This role sits at the intersection of IT and Operational Technology (OT) — focused on deploying, configuring, and supporting the systems that power real-world energy environments. If you enjoy working hands-on with Linux systems, networking, and automation in mission-critical environments, this is a unique opportunity to step into the rapidly growing battery energy storage (BESS) space.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deploy and configure Linux-based servers, edge devices, and virtualized environments (Ubuntu, VMware, Proxmox)
  • Build and maintain automation scripts (Ansible, Bash, Python) for scalable system deployment
  • Support industrial networking and communications (VLANs, firewalls, Modbus, DNP3, OPC UA, MQTT)
  • Manage and optimize databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB) for high-frequency operational data
  • Work hands-on with hardware commissioning and site deployments across operational energy sites
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system integration issues in uptime-critical environments
