ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF A MAC SENIOR ESTIMATOR
Estimating Leadership
- Lead and manage the preparation of detailed cost estimates for projects from conceptual through final bid documents.
- Establish bid strategies and ensure complete, accurate scope coverage across all divisions.
- Review and validate all estimates prior to submission, ensuring that pricing aligns with project drawings, vendor proposals, and company standards.
- Provide oversight and mentorship to estimating staff on takeoffs, bid leveling, and proposal documentation.
- Identify and communicate value engineering opportunities to improve cost efficiency without sacrificing quality.
Bid and Proposal Management
- Manage the full bid process from RFP intake through submission, including document control, trade solicitation, bid coverage, and leveling.
- Develop project-specific scope sheets and bid forms, confirming all trades have complete and current information.
- Lead bid-day analysis and ensure that all proposals reflect a complete and accurate scope.
- Assemble and deliver professional, client-ready proposal packages that communicate clarity, confidence, and alignment with project requirements.
- Support pre-bid meetings and post-bid interviews as needed to represent MACβs estimating team.
Preconstruction Collaboration
- Collaborate with design teams, project managers, and field leadership to identify constructability issues, schedule implications, and risk areas.
- Partner with operations on handoff deliverables, ensuring all bid assumptions, vendor selections, and clarifications are documented and accessible in Procore.
- Participate in project handoff meetings and support field teams in understanding estimate logic and scope breakdowns.
Vendor and Subcontractor Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and reliable coverage.
- Lead pre-bid scope review calls and ensure alignment on inclusions, exclusions, and assumptions.
- Review and level all subcontractor bids, tracking historical data for future reference.
- Maintain MACβs preferred vendor database and ensure consistent communication with trade partners.
Process Improvement & Data Management
- Support the development and refinement of MACβs preconstruction procedures and SOPs.
- Maintain historical cost data and use it to inform conceptual and schematic budgets.
- Assist in establishing performance metrics for estimating accuracy, proposal timeliness, and bid hit rate.
- Leverage technology (Procore, ProEst, Bluebeam, Excel, Smartsheet) to streamline estimating workflows.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND REQUIREMENTS OF A MAC SENIOR ESTIMATOR
- Deep understanding of construction means, methods, and cost structures across commercial building types.
- Proficiency in Procore, ProEst (or equivalent estimating software), Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with data center, industrial, or MEP-intensive project estimating preferred.
- Ability to lead meetings with clients, architects, and subcontractors confidently and professionally.
- Bachelorβs degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 8β12 years of progressive estimating experience with a commercial general contractor.
- Experience in both conceptual and hard-bid estimating is required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The typical annual base salary range for this role is $95-129k. The base salary offer will depend on experience and other relevant factors. This role is eligible for project bonuses as well as an annual incentive plan.Β

Administer Identity & Access Management using EntraID.
Ensure security and compliance using Microsoft Defender and Purview, adhering to NIST, CUI, HIPAA, and FERPA standards.

- Conduct a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) of all routine and non-routine tasks performed on-site
- Promote safer forklift operations through training, observation and coaching operators
- Develop training materials including toolbox talks, standard operating procedures (SOP's) and others
- Manage the relationship with site security and ensures security services are being provided for each DC

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
UW Medicine IT Services (ITS) is a shared services organization that supports all of UW Medicine. UW Medicine is comprised of Harborview Medical Center (HMC), UW Medical Center-Montlake Campus (UWMC-Montlake), UW Medical Center-Northwest Campus (UWMC-NW), Valley Medical Center (VMC), UW Medicine Primary Care (UWMPC), UW Physicians (UWP), UW School of Medicine (SOM), and Airlift Northwest (ALNW). ITS is responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of the infrastructure and applications which support all these institutions, along with the implementation of new services and applications that are used to support and further the UW Medicine mission.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The IT Governance team provides the strategic and operational foundation for effective IT Governance across UW Medicine through streamlined processes to ensure that IT is focused on the highest strategic value with solid risk management.
Responsible for leading teams to deliver the technology governance program spanning across all business units
Manages resources, schedules, and approaches throughout the full project life cycle
Serves as a coach and mentor to governance team members to ensure excellent customer service in full compliance with Governance standards, contributing to further development and improvement of these standards
Leads projects to mature and grow the governance maturity within ITS, benchmarking our efforts across healthcare IT and bringing and implementing best practices where they are a good fit for UW Medicine
Works closely with user representatives, other ITS teams, operations staff, and other project team members from ideation through scheduling
Analyzes business processes and data
Supports IT Owners and Business Owners in business case development including KPIs and risk categorization and mitigation
Supports the operational departments ensuring that their ideas and needs are captured
Analyzes the overall portfolio for investment trends, benchmarks, capacity, and risk, presenting this information to executives and highlighting strategic opportunities
Communicates broadly and proactively leading IT Governance activities and improvements
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelorβs degree in a healthcare-oriented profession, a technology field, a business-related field, or other discipline that demonstrates analytical or communications abilities, or related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
5+ years of overall experience to include the below
5+ years of experience serving in a project leadership role with responsibility for managing progressively more complicated vendor-packaged system deployment and/or process improvement projects
3+ years of recent experience utilizing tools to manage projects/programs/portfolios
2+ years working with portfolio management or governance in a large healthcare setting
Demonstrated experience leading, motivating, and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding all teams accountable for performance
Demonstrated leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across, and down multiple business and technology organizations/business units
Demonstrated experience effectively working with multiple, diverse, stakeholders in a complex project environment within a cross-functional matrix environment
Demonstrated experience managing project work and/or work of others within an established standard project lifecycle framework

At Houston Methodist, the Senior Pharmacy Clinical Specialist position is responsible for performing expert clinical pharmacist duties enabling the delivery of optimal pharmacotherapy to patients and facilitating safe, efficacious, and pharmacoeconomically rational use of medications in the population(s) served, which involves daily medication therapy regimen reviews of patients within designated area(s) of responsibility or targeted populations served. - Follow the nursing model to promote holistic care for the residents.

- Participate in the admission, discharge and transfers of residents as required.

- Transcribe physician orders to medical record and carry out orders as written.
- Prepare and administer medications as per physiciansβ orders and observe for adverse effects as indicated.
