Position Title: Quality Manager (Supplement Manufacturing Industry)

Position Overview:

In this role, we are looking for a detail-oriented Quality leader who is highly skilled in food safety, food quality, and good manufacturing practices.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage initiatives that ensure product safety, uniformity, and quality across all dietary supplement and nutrition manufacturing operations.
• Direct Quality Assurance and Regulatory functions, including team oversight and process management.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance quality systems to meet applicable industry regulations and standards (e.g., cGMP, GDP, 21 CFR Part 111, HACCP, FSMA, SQF, NSF, GFCO, TGA).

• Review and approve key documentation, including batch records, specifications, and change controls, as well as authorize final product release.
• Ensure timely resolution of deviations, complaints, investigations, and CAPA activities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, NSF, TGA, Health Canada, etc.) and ensure organizational compliance.
• Support enforcement of cGMP standards, food safety systems, and workplace hygiene policies.
• Oversee adherence to SOP-driven quality systems and operational procedures.
• Conduct performance evaluations and address employee-related matters as needed.
• Provide cross-functional support to manufacturing and quality teams to drive product excellence.
• Promote cost efficiencies while maintaining high-quality production standards.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including PPE and GMP growing requirements.
• Participate in cross-training initiatives across various manufacturing functions.
• Collaborate with production teams, offering technical guidance across processes such as blending, encapsulation, packaging, and labeling.
• Ensure readiness of materials and equipment throughout all stages of production.

Sentinel Underwriting Review is seeking an experienced field inspector to perform exterior insurance underwriting inspections in the following coverage areas:

• Grand Traverse, Benzie, Leelanau Counties (Traverse City / Northwest Michigan)
• Alpena, Presque Isle, Montmorency, Oscoda, & Alcona Counties (Northeast Lower Michigan)
• Escanaba, Delta, Menominee Counties (South-Central Upper Peninsula)

• Completing a short digital inspection report

• Occasionally preparing a simple property sketch

• Scheduling homeowners for the limited interior inspections

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited university-based Speech/Language Pathology program and be awarded a Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology.

The Opportunity

Job Summary: Under direct supervision of the Team Leads the Crew Member is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per company standards, processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, performing cash register operations, sweeping, stocking, cleaning and safeguarding company assets but not limited to just these duties. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods of times.

Duties and Essential Functions:

Crew Member responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Providing premier customer service, greeting and responding to questions

Assisting customers at the registers

Working various departments of the store

Ensuring product is rotated, within date, and properly displayed on shelves according to the appropriate planogram

Unloading product from trucks and organizing stock room

Assisting within replenishing of all departments.

Cleaning cases, filling shelves, mopping and sweeping the sales floor, stock room and dairy coolers.

Operating back-room equipment, pallet jack, baler, compactor and scrub machine

Assisting in other duties, as assigned

Education/Training/Experience/License Required:

Experience

Preferred Field of Expertise

Demonstrated customer service skills and follow procedures.

Ability to interact with customers and coworkers.

Ability to understand and follow directions.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

Communication- written and oral skills (Bilingual English/Spanish a plus)

Problem identification and resolution.
