Job Details

General Summary:

Function as a cashier and/or stocker and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the store manager or assistant store manager. Assist in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams and programs. Provide exemplary customer service. Perform other duties as necessary to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork, while protecting company assets and reducing losses.

Duties and Essential Job Functions:

  • Unload trucks according to the prescribed process for the store.
  • Follow company work processes to receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
  • Stock merchandise; rotate and face merchandise on shelves and build merchandise displays.
  • Restock returned and recovered merchandise.
  • Order zones and drop shipment categories, following prescribed ordering practices, as assigned by the store manager.
  • Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
  • Assist customers by locating merchandise.
  • Bail cardboard and take out trash; dust and mop store floors; clean restroom and stockroom.
  • Greet customers as they enter the store.
  • Maintain register countertops and bags; implement register countertop plan-o-grams.
  • Operate cash register and flatbed scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase; bag merchandise.
  • Collect payment from customer and make change.
  • Clean front end of store and help set up sidewalk displays.
  • Help to maintain a clean, well-organized store and facilitate a safe and secure working and shopping environment.
  • Provide superior customer service leadership.
  • Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in the standard operating procedures manual, employee handbook, and company communications.
  • Open and/or close the store under specific direction of the area manager.

In the Absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager:

  • Authorize and sign for refunds and overrides; count register; make bank deposits.
  • Assist in maintaining strict cashier accountability, key control, and adherence to company security practices and cash control procedures.
  • Monitor cash levels and make appropriate drawer pulls as directed by the store manager.
  • Monitor cameras for unusual activities (customers and employees), if applicable.
  • Supply cashiers with change when needed.
  • Complete all required paperwork and documentation according to guidelines and deadlines as assigned.
Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
  • Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.
  • Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies and practices.
  • Effective interpersonal and oral & written communication skills.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Company-Drivers are responsible for on time delivery of freight between Dollar General Distribution Centers, stores, and vendors. Responsible for hauling and unloading multi-stop freight to Dollar General Stores and also returning freight (as required) and rolltainers to the Distribution Center. Responsible for safely operating the vehicle and transporting all freight, which includes interstate and intrastate deliveries.

DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Transport store-delivery freight as well as store returns and backhauls over-the-road in a safe, efficient, and timely manner adhering to all Dollar General policies and state and federal regulations. 40%

* Unload and reload freight and rolltainers at each delivery in a safe and efficient manner. 30%

* This includes:

* Rolling rolltainers off the trailer onto a lift gate and placing them into the backroom of the store;

* Unloading individual boxes and/or totes as required and placing them in the backroom of the store;

* Reloading return rolltainers and product onto the trailer and returning these items to the Distribution Center; and

* Safely securing all freight and rolltainers at each stop before sealing the trailer.

* Provide professional customer service to all parties including store teams, backhaul vendors, and distribution employees. 10%

* Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records required under state and federal laws and regulations. 10%

* Ensure operation of the vehicle is in compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations. 10%

Job Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted CRNA license (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent CRNA experience; general anesthesia experience preferred
  • Ability to obtain Minnesota state licensure if not already held (temporary credentialing available)
  • Clear background and malpractice history

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for a variety of general surgical cases as the anesthesia provider (CRNA)
  • Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans
  • Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and perioperative staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Monitor patients throughout procedures and during post-anesthesia recovery
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with facility protocols

Position Summary

The Pool Server provides exceptional food and beverage service to guests in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. You'll ensure timely and accurate order delivery while maintaining a friendly, professional, and attentive demeanor. This role is key to creating a relaxing and enjoyable poolside experience for all guests. This position reports to the Restaurant Manager.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities

  • Food and wine knowledge/service
  • Ensure friendly greeting to all guests
  • Take orders and serve food and beverage request promptly and ensure that established service procedures and standards are followed
  • Check with guest during meal for guest satisfaction
  • Responsible for guest check and proper payment
  • Set-up station and tables prior to service
  • Assist in clearing and set-up of tables and outdoor space during service
  • Ensures tableware is clean and delivered in a timely manner
  • Completes side duties
  • Maintain the proper care and cleanliness of tableware, serving equipment and service areas
  • Make manager aware of all guest comments and complaints
  • Maintain positive communication with service personnel
  • Carries tools necessary to perform job, ie crumbers corkscrew etc
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1 year customer service experience required
  • 1 year serving experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficient knowledge in point-of-sale systems
  • Knowledge of food and beverage products offered 
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures 
  • Knowledge of 5 star standards and adheres to them in every aspect of operation
  • Familiar with Colorado liquor laws does not serve intoxicated guests or minors
  • Understanding on how to assist customers and meet their needs effectively 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively 
  • Ability to do basic problem-solving 
  • Proficiency in communicating clearly both verbally and in writing to team members and customers 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to work under stressful circumstances
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in processes, customer flow, environments, and tasks
  • Ability to develop strong working relationship with those contacted in the course of work

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time
