Clinical Documentation Physician Liaison (NP/PA)

Location: Orlando, FL (Multiple Sites)

Schedule: Hybrid | Monday–Friday (Onsite 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Remote remainder of day)

Salary Range: $110,000 – $140,000 + Bonus Eligibility

Overview

A leading healthcare system is seeking a Clinical Documentation Physician Liaison to support and enhance physician documentation practices across multiple hospital sites. This role is ideal for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant looking to transition into a collaborative, non-direct patient care position while leveraging clinical expertise to drive quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee physician documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
• Analyze clinical and operational data to identify documentation improvement opportunities
• Provide education and training to physicians and clinical teams
• Balance reimbursement integrity with compliance standards using sound clinical judgment
• Collaborate with Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI), revenue cycle, and interdisciplinary teams
• Act as a liaison between clinical staff and administrative stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (active Florida license required)
• Minimum 5+ years of experience (Inpatient)
• Strong understanding of CDI outcomes and operational metrics

Document Manager Job Summary:

Sparks Group has partnered with a telecommunications company in Leesburg, VA to find a proactive and detail-oriented Document Manager. The Document Manager will oversee the complete information lifecycle for assigned projects. This role is responsible for the systematic creation, organization, and secure storage of all project-related data to ensure seamless retrieval and operational efficiency. This is a permanent role that will require you to work fully onsite initially with the potential of working a hybrid schedule down the road.

Document Manager Responsibilities:

• Standardize file organization by integrating industry best practices, U.S. Government policies, and internal requirements.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), ensuring rigorous adherence to CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, and contract-specific marking and disposal protocols.
• Execute all tasks exclusively on government-approved devices and networks, maintaining strict compliance with encryption and cybersecurity mandates.
• Develop and enforce secure file directories and naming conventions, configuring user permissions to maintain document confidentiality and integrity.
• Oversee the accurate digitization, indexing, and physical filing of records to ensure 100% completeness within company databases.
• Proactively manage physical and digital storage capacity by forecasting needs and executing defensible disposition of expired records.
• Maintain "always-ready" documentation systems to facilitate immediate retrieval for internal audits, inventories, or federal reviews.
• Formalize and maintain procedural manuals, compliance attestations, and security training logs as required by organizational policy and client contracts.
• Partner with executive leadership, contractors, and federal clients to streamline the collection and processing of mission-critical documents.
• Generate comprehensive data reports on storage metrics, file statistics, and management activities to inform leadership decision-making.
• Utilize advanced encryption and secure disposal methods to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive or proprietary data.

Document Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Management, IT, or a related discipline is preferred.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory. All hires will be verified via E-Verify and must complete standard onboarding and EEO documentation.
• Proficiency in federal standards including FAR, DFARS, and CUI guidelines. Candidates should be well-versed in NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC frameworks.
• Strong understanding of federal records retention and disposition protocols, including NARA schedules and contract-specific lifecycle requirements.
• Willingness to undergo specialized training in internal procedures, advanced security protocols, and proprietary digital workflows.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required (Secret preferred).

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for leading the development and management of stroke data for University Hospital.

Performs data collection, analysis and reporting of stroke data compliance with Joint Commission Stroke standards to maintain designation as a Certified Stroke Center.

Collaborates with hospital Stroke Medical Directors, Stroke Coordinator, and Ancillary Program Leadership to advance data collection and develop plans to address variances.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Graduation from accredited school of professional nursing is required.

Must have at least three years of hospital or clinic based experience.

Experience with reporting and analyzing clinical documentation for the Joint Commission accreditation for stroke programs highly preferred.

Work experience with the operation of personal computers and Microsoft Office software is expected.

LICENSURE Current license from the Board of Nurse Examiners of the State of Texas to practice as a registered nurse.

Current training in Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR) is required.
