As an Aircraft Structures Mechanic, you will utilize your manufacturing knowledge to set up tools and equipment for drilling and fastening complex structures, including composite materials. You will operate various hand and machine tools, including automated equipment, to perform tasks according to specifications while ensuring safety and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include recognizing and reporting any equipment malfunctions, performing maintenance, and coordinating the movement of materials and tools. You will also cut, assemble, and install components, verify your work against specifications, and handle hazardous materials safely.

Position Responsibilities:

• Review daily reports and consult with team leaders to determine job assignments and obtain necessary documentation.

• Locate work areas using specified drawings and paperwork.

• Verify kitted parts against installation plans and bill of materials, ensuring they are suitable and defect-free.

• Retrieve non-kitted parts from designated areas, ensuring compliance with specifications.

• Use electronic devices to access work instructions and engineering data (personal cell phones not permitted).

• Select and utilize appropriate hand and power tools for assembly tasks, including precision alignment equipment.

• Move kits, carts, and equipment within the work cell as needed.

• Load/unload jigs and operate mechanical lifts for assembly work.

• Locate tools and parts on aircraft using specified methods and set up assembly tools per instructions.

• Handle hazardous materials safely and dispose of them properly.

• Inspect completed work for defects and cleanliness before submission for inspection.

• Perform minor rework and maintain tool control in accordance with procedures.

• Maintain personal and tool certifications and seek assistance from supervisors when necessary.

• Set up tools and equipment for drilling and fastener installation in complex structures.

• Operate various hand and machine tools, monitoring equipment functionality and performing routine maintenance.

• Coordinate the movement and preparation of materials and tools for tasks.

• Cut, file, drill, and assemble parts, ensuring proper fitting and quality standards.

• Conduct reaming, riveting, and sealing operations, applying corrosion inhibitors as needed.

• Utilize calibrated tools to verify work against specifications and ensure quality.

• Manage equipment and materials within the work cell to ensure efficient workflow.

Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:

• Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.

• Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.

• Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience working with mechanical or structures related statements of work; such as construction, aerospace, automotive, maritime or similar industry; this can include education and military.

• 1+ years of experience using high impact vibratory tools; such as bucking/riveting.

The Company

VINCI Construction Grands Projets USA (formally VINCI Construction LLC) is a subsidiary of VINCI Construction Grands Projets with its main office located in Alexandria, Virginia. The scope of the company is general contracting and construction work, along with any associated services related to large, selected Design and Build projects, either public or private for which it can bring clear and strong added value. We aim to develop engineering and construction services for large infrastructure projects in various parts in the United States and provide a highly skilled and competitive professional service in construction field.

Project Overview:

As part of the Hampton Roads Connector Partners (HRCP) Joint Venture (JV) consisting of VINCI Construction, Dragados, and Flatiron has been selected to construct the $3.3BN Design Build project – the largest civil construction contract ever awarded by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).

The project scope across a 9-mile section of the I-64 will include: a new 3.5-mile bridge-tunnel crossing that will accommodate a total of 8 lanes of capacity across the water, replacement of the existing marine approach bridges and the addition of a third lane on I-64 in each direction. The twin 45’ diameter 1.5-mile tunnels will be bored by TBM, creating the second largest TBM tunnel opening for a TBM in North America. The project is expected to continue to the beginning of 2027.

Responsibilities:

As the Tunnel Interior Structure Construction Manager for the $3.3BN Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel Expansion Project (HRBT) in Virginia, you will lead and carry out construction processes in accordance with the direction, policies, and objectives set by the Tunnel Construction Manager.

The primary responsibility of this position is to lead Superintendents in construction activities on the site – including planning, preparation, and execution. Secondary duties of this position are to assist the Tunnel Construction Manager in the completion of all construction activities of the affiliate.

The Role We Want You For

The primary function of the Structural Steel Estimator, Steel Procurement is to provide accurate bid proposals for Structural Steel and scope analysis for potential construction projects.

The Specifics of the Role

• Responsible for accurate material quantity take-off.
• Develops comprehensive, detailed proposal for the project estimated.
• Maintain project budget throughout each project, with profit and loss accountability.
• Identify opportunities for change orders and establish cost where applicable.
• Prepare, issue and track change order status for material above and beyond the original contract.
• Develop options and recommend best value solutions based on cost, engineering, quality, or availability of materials.
• Additional responsibilities include quote review, project management, and material purchasing.
• Ensure department achieves goals through management and leadership mentality.
• Functions as Lead Estimator.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or Engineering discipline preferred.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of Structural Steel and Miscellaneous Metals.
• Knowledge and understanding of building construction combined with steel design concepts presented on architectural and engineering drawings.
• Ability to prepare proposals with minimum supervision.
• Candidates must have a strong understanding of detailed estimating, estimating techniques and cost control.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates should be able to clearly articulate bid inclusions, exclusions, and proposal clarifications with owners and subcontractors.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Review proposals, specifications, drawing, attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and develop quantity take-offs.
• Develops and maintains relationships with general contractor.
• Responsible for buyout process with Project Manager.
• Knowledge of construction principles/practices required.
• Problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals.
• Project set up, budget planning, buy out, and cost reporting experience is a must.
• Good understanding of critical path scheduling.
• Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
• Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite, On-Screen Estimating software, and ACC Build.

Senior Funds Counsel

Overview

A rapidly expanding financial services company is seeking a Senior Funds Counsel to join its Salt Lake City office. This attorney will play a key role in advising on fund formation, structuring, compliance, and ongoing operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive, business‑minded lawyer who can partner closely with internal teams and external stakeholders in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on the formation, structuring, and operation of registered investment funds and mutual funds, including PE, VC, credit, or other alternative vehicles.
• Draft and negotiate fund documents, subscription agreements, side letters, and related investor materials.
• Advise on regulatory matters impacting private funds (e.g., Investment Advisers Act, Investment Company, Act, securities regulations, and relevant state law considerations).
• Support fundraising efforts, investor communications, and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal business units-including investment teams, operations, and compliance-to address legal issues and ensure best practices across the funds platform.
• Manage external counsel relationships efficiently and strategically.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 3 years of legal experience focused on registered funds or mutual funds (law firm, in‑house, or a combination).
• Strong understanding of private fund structures, offering documents, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
• Ability to operate with autonomy, sound judgment, and a practical approach to risk.
• Interest in working within a collaborative, high‑growth environment.
