Family Law Attorney | North Jersey
LHH is assisting a boutique North Jersey law firm in its search for an experienced Family Law Attorney to join a steadily growing practice. This team handles a wide range of complex family law matters and offers meaningful mentorship, direct client interaction, and a clear path for professional development.
Role Overview
The incoming attorney will work closely with partners and associates across the firm’s family law group, providing counsel on matters including divorce, domestic violence, custody, parenting time, and support. This role requires regular court appearances, client advisory work, negotiation, and participation in mediations and depositions. The position offers the opportunity to manage impactful cases while maintaining a balanced workflow supported by a collaborative team.

Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive base salary range of 125K to 200K depending on experience and portable business

Candidate Requirements
• At least 5 years of family law experience including divorce, DV, custody, and support matters
• Active NJ bar admission required; NY admission is a plus
• Prior experience appearing in New Jersey courts
• Strong background in client engagement, mediations, depositions, and litigation strategy
• JD from an accredited law school
