This team is on the front lines of our mission and innovation, managing the a16z deal process, from initial inbound deals to partnership meetings. The anticipated salary range for this role is between $169,000 - $197,000, actual starting pay may vary based on a range of factors which can include experience, skills, and scope.

Position Snapshot/A Day in the Life:

This Associate Engineer position will be within the Traffic Division of the Public Works/Engineering Department. With a team of 11 (7 of whom are primarily responsible for signal operations and maintenance), we are responsible for overseeing the City's transportation system, including supporting Capital Improvements Projects, Land Development projects, Street Maintenance, Planning, and others.

Under the direction of a Senior Engineer or City Traffic Engineer, you will primarily be responsible for reviewing private development and capital improvement project related traffic studies, identifying impacts and deficiencies, and determining the most appropriate improvements and design features needed.
