Blue Cypress is seeking a Utility Management Services (UMS) Regional Director to support current projects and facilitate the expansion of our utility management consulting services group in the Pacific Northwest. This position will work closely with our existing UMS staff in Seattle, Atlanta, and Cincinnati, seeking to expand the current project work we are currently conducting with a number of clients in the PNW, win work with new clients, expand our services, and facilitate career development of staff. It is our intent to continue growing our presence in the Seattle area and to continue supporting our clients in the region. As an integral part of our business development and technical team, the UMS Regional Director will manage client projects, lead/mentor early- and mid-career staff, develop and maintain client relationships, and lead business development activities. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 15 years of experience primarily as a utility management and/or engineering consultant at an A&E firm; public sector experience is also valued. The successful candidate will have a strong professional network within the Seattle metro-area and a technical focus on water, wastewater, and/or stormwater systems or management of transportation systems (transit, highway, airport). This candidate must have a successful track record of leadership and mentorship, delivering projects on time and on budget, developing and maintaining client relationships, managing complex projects, leading business development activities, and working closely with a team made up of supervisor and peers. Minimum Qualifications

Responsibilities:
We're looking for a Telecommunications Systems Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business.
This position will provide opportunities to lead portions of very large and complex projects as a telecom scope owner working in conjunction with other telecom design professionals and supporting design staff while collectively producing challenging design packages. This is done in coordination with architects and other discipline engineers / design leads all under one design team.
You will interface directly with our client counterparts to design these facilities to meet their needs. Our teams leverage AutoCAD and Revit MEP design software to create fully coordinated 3D models across all disciplines (C,S,A,M,E,P,T,I,L).
Through a mixture of full 3D BIM delivery, construction specifications and 2D sheets, you will help lead the design of everything from Outside Plant (OSP) to inter / intra-building backbone distribution systems, communication room layouts, rack elevations, wired & wireless device plans and cable schedules.
All facets of the designs and calculations will be completed in accordance with the NEC, applicable TIA and other industry standards as well as Client and/or the client specifications as applicable.

- Develops, analyzes, and completes monthly reports in order to track and monitor production, efficiency, compliance with investor guidelines against stated objectives and associate quality against established standards

As a Technician, you will be responsible for providing a high level of service to our clients by maintaining optimum performance of their MFP’s and printers. You will complete emergency service calls as well as preventative maintenance calls at the customer’s location.

Responsibilities
+ Travel to customers’ locations to complete service calls according to company policies.
+ Accurately diagnose, repair and maintain equipment in optimum operating condition at customers’ locations.
+ Manage and maintain a highly accurate car stock parts inventory.
+ Provide on-going key-operator training to enhance user productivity, increase machine uptime and reduce service tickets.
+ Project a positive company image through proper attire, personal grooming, exceptional communication skills, and excellent customer service.
+ Report poor machine performance at first suspicion to manager.
+ Keep current with new technology through off-site manufacturer's classes and online training.
+ Collaborate with customer service team to receive, prioritize, and accurately close service calls.
+ Maintain current KPI requirements for position.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
+ A high school diploma or equivalent; or industry related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.
+ Computer literate and basic knowledge of networking.
+ Ability to install/diagnose a network printer.
+ Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
+ Ability to travel to and from customers within the subsidiary’s customer base.
+ Ability to read and follow technical schematics and service manuals.
+ Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures.
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ Able to work independently, under pressure at customer locations and to accept direction on given assignments.
+ Physical requirements: ability to bend, lift 50 pounds.

The typical pay range for this role is $50,000 -$62,000. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position may include a discretionary bonus based on performance.

Position Summary
Sterling is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician with strong machining, fabrication, and design experience to join our team. This role will support engineering and production initiatives by designing, fabricating, and modifying components, fixtures, and tooling in a machine shop environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with extensive hands-on experience in tool and die making, manual machining, and fabrication, capable of working independently while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.
This role will initially be hired as an Engineering Technician III, with the opportunity for promotion to Engineering Technician IV upon transition to a core employee.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, fabricate, and modify tools, fixtures, and custom components to support engineering and production operations.
- Operate and maintain manual machining equipment, including manual lathes, manual mills, and other machine shop tools.
- Perform tool and die making, precision machining, and fabrication work based on engineering drawings and specifications.
- Utilize 3D modeling software to support design, prototyping, and process improvements.
- Develop and edit CNC programs using MasterCam when required to support machining operations.
- Create and present technical documentation, process updates, and project summaries using PowerPoint and Excel.

- Ensure work is performed independently, safely, and in accordance with machine shop best practices and safety standards.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a machine shop, tool and die, fabrication, or precision machining environment.
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Machining, Tool & Die, or related field.
- Experience supporting engineering prototyping, R&D, or manufacturing process development.
- Experience working in high-precision or prototype fabrication environments.
- Extensive experience operating manual lathes, manual mills, and other machine shop equipment.
