Job Title: Automotive EDI Business Analyst (Plex ERP)

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Automotive EDI Business Analyst with deep expertise in Plex Systems ERP and OEM-specific EDI transactions for Ford Motor Company, Stellantis, and Toyota supply chains.
This role will act as the liaison between business, IT, trading partners, and OEM customers to design, implement, and support EDI integrations within a Plex-based automotive manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate understands automotive release/accounting processes, cumulative tracking, and OEM EDI requirements across the procure-to-ship lifecycle.
Automotive suppliers rely on Plexβs built-in EDI and release management capabilities to automate orders, shipping notifications, and material planning while ensuring OEM compliance.
Key Responsibilities
EDI & OEM Integration
- Lead onboarding and maintenance of OEM and Tier-1 trading partners (Ford, Stellantis, Toyota)
- Analyze, map, and validate automotive EDI transactions, including:
- 830 / DELFOR (Forecast)
- 862 / DELJIT (Sequenced Release)
- 850 / 855 (PO / Acknowledgment)
- 856 / DESADV (ASN)
- 810 (Invoice)
- Ensure compliance with OEM EDI implementation guidelines and MMOG/LE standards
- Coordinate EDI testing, certification, and production cutover with OEMs and VAN providers
Plex ERP Functional Analysis
- Configure and support Plex EDI source documents and release accounting
- Align Plex cumulative releases, shipping, and ASN processes with OEM requirements
- Support Plex modules impacting EDI flows:
- Customer releases & shipping
- Inventory & MRP
- Logistics / ASN
- Quality & traceability
- Troubleshoot EDI-to-ERP data flow issues and transaction failures
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
- Gather and document EDI and supply-chain requirements from operations, logistics, and customer service
- Create functional specs, mapping documents, and data flow diagrams
- Identify automation opportunities in order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes
- Drive continuous improvement in EDI reliability, ASN accuracy, and release processing
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Interface with OEM EDI coordinators and customer portals
- Work with EDI providers (OpenText, Cleo, TrueCommerce, etc.)
- Coordinate with Plex integrators and internal IT teams
- Train business users on Plex EDI and release workflows
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years automotive EDI experience in a Tier-1/Tier-2 supplier environment
- Hands-on experience with Plex ERP EDI or release management
- Direct OEM EDI experience with at least two of:
- Ford
- Stellantis
- Toyota
- Strong knowledge of automotive EDI standards:
- ANSI X12
- EDIFACT (DELFOR, DELJIT, DESADV)
- VDA (4905, 4913, 4915)
- Experience with:
- EDI mapping & testing
- ASN and cumulative releases
- Sequencing / JIT / JIS
- Understanding of automotive supply-chain processes (MMOG/LE, IATF)
Preferred Qualifications
- Plex implementation or upgrade project experience

Job Description
The Electrician is responsible for preventative maintenance, layout, installation, and repair of all electrical equipment and power and lighting systems in the facility including motors, generators, transformer controls and mechanisms, timing devices, switches, cable and conduits. This includes connections to electronic equipment or the installation and repair of any other electrical equipment.
The Electrician will apply electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery and electrical control equipment and circuitry. The Electrician will also assemble and test motor-controlled devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, and other electrical equipment and components; perform preventative and corrective maintenance and diagnose causes of electrical malfunction or failure of operational equipment. Candidate must be able to perform incidental tasks as required to complete the larger task.

Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 4 years of combined experience and training similar to that required in a bona fide apprenticeship program as an Electrician; or a U.S. Department of Labor Completion of Apprenticeship Certificate as an Electrician; or eight (8) years of documented Electrician experience; or five (5) years of documented Electrician experience and three (3) years in a related trade
- Ability, with or without reasonable accommodation, to work any shift and work some overtime, including daily, weekends and holidays
- Experience as an Electrician in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with blueprints, drawings, layouts or other specifications
- Electrical experience supporting manufacturing operations including knowledge and troubleshooting

Concepts, Quotes and Negotiations
- In conjunction with Business Development proactively obtain early opportunities to offer HBPO solutions to assigned customers. Identify strategies, document with appropriate CRM tools, and clearly prioritize opportunities, targets and progress
- In conjunction with Business Development obtain from assigned customers all possible intelligence to develop HBPO solutions that best fit customer needs (not necessarily customer wants)
- Organize and run negotiations relative to assigned customers terms and conditions, warranty, liability, service parts, quality agreements, miscellaneous contracts and commitments
- Prepare alternative cost models and systematic P&L scenarios for each project and each plant prior to quoting
- Develop quote packages for the assigned customers consistent with past quotes. Online quoting may be required in some cases in addition to paper quotes. Quotes include written spec., assumptions for warranty, liability, productivity, material identification and weights, commercial terms and detailed technical concepts.
- Negotiate quotes with assigned customers using specific financial and technical argumentation. Continuously look for opportunities to reduce cost, improve quotes or improve attractiveness of HBPOβs offering. Update quotes accordingly. Negotiate accordingly.
- Support program management in quoting ongoing changes and negotiate such changes with assigned customers
Customer Relationship Management
- Develop, improve and cultivate relationships with assigned customers at all levels. Include all departments like advanced purchasing, purchasing, cost optimisation, supplier quality, body engineering, front-end engineering, exterior engineering, studios, powertrain cooling engineering, advanced manufacturing, logistics and plants
- Organize, prepare and hold strategic, commercial and technical presentations at the assigned customers including answering specific technical aspects or providing expertsβ answer in a timely manner. In conjunction with Business Development prior to Gate 1
- Represent the company at the assigned customers
- Support program management in solving major issues with assigned customers
- Obtain, document and provide answers in a timely manner to the customer base. Address all concerns and needs prior to Gate 2. In conjunction with Program Management after Gate 2 and Plant after SOP.
- Organize visits with assigned customers at our plants and facilities
- Organize events to honor customers or improve present/future communication and relationships between HBPO and assigned customers. This may include a reasonable and moderate number of customer outings and event participations.
- Organize Tech days and special events at assigned customers
Marketing & competitive intelligence
- Obtain, check consistency, filter and maintain up-to-date documentation of information on future programs, localization, product strategy, future technologies, future materials, advanced developments at the assigned customers, trends, future customer needs.
- In conjunction with Business Development, obtain, check consistency, filter and maintain up-to-date documentation of information on competitorsβ market positions, pricing, and technologies
- Ensure compliance of internal business processes, strategic and operational directions with true present and future customer needs (not necessarily customer wants)
- Support any activity that facilitates program management, customer relations, smooth production launches, reaching or exceeding financial and strategic targets, and customer satisfaction.

- Has the ability to stop production, upon notifying the supervisor and Plant Manager for Safety related matters requiring immediate attention.

Related Experience/Specialized Knowledge:
- Experience with the following customers Tesla, Rivian, GM, Stellantis is a plus.
