As an STNA, you will care for guests under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical nurse. Responsibilities include:

Job Overview

The Starbucks Supervisor directs daily operations of the licensed Starbucks café inside Macy’s, ensuring an efficient, professional, safe, and profitable operation while upholding Starbucks brand standards and Macy’s Foods Division expectations. The Supervisor works alongside Baristas to deliver quality customer service and expertly crafted beverages, modeling the operational standards that define the Starbucks Experience.

The Starbucks Supervisor coaches and develops team members, maintains an encouraging and energetic work environment, and partners with leadership to support sales, profitability, and compliance goals. In this role, the Supervisor positively influences others, strengthens leadership skills, and creates an uplifting experience for both customers and colleagues.

What You Will Do

• Lead daily café operations, ensuring compliance with Starbucks, Macy’s Foods Division, and Health Department standards for safety, sanitation, and product quality.
  
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by modeling Starbucks’ customer connection standards and Macy’s Selling behaviors.
  
• Train, coach, and motivate colleagues through ongoing feedback and role modeling to maximize team performance, customer satisfaction, and professional development.
  
• Ensure consistent preparation, presentation, and merchandising of all food and beverages to Starbucks standards, making necessary recipe adjustments (e.g., temperature, ingredient quantities, or substitutions) to meet customer requests.
  
• Monitor labor productivity to balance customer service needs with cost control.
  
• Assist with ordering, receiving, inventory management, and invoice processing to maintain stock levels and achieve targeted food and beverage costs.
  
• Monitor sales, expenses, and reports to achieve profit and loss goals, and communicate results and priorities to the team and leadership.
  
• Oversee cash handling and point-of-sale operations in compliance with Macy’s and Starbucks policies.
  
• Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming café environment, serving as a role model for grooming, communication, and workplace conduct.
  
• Partner with store leadership and Starbucks Division Managers to ensure operational excellence and promptly resolve customer concerns.

Who You Are

• Candidates with a High School diploma or equivalent are encouraged to apply. Retail, food service, or customer service experience preferred. 
  
• Must be ServSafe certified or have food handler permit as required by state or local health department. 
  
• This position requires heavy lifting, constant moving, remaining in a stationary position, and reaching with arms and hands. Involves remaining in a stationary position for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 30 lbs. stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. May involve reaching above eye level. Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on department and company needs.

The Merchandiser I is responsible for performing merchandising activities, constructing displays, and stocking SGWS products in retail accounts as requested by sales teams or retail customers. The Merchandiser will install promotional point-of-sale materials to achieve display objectives and stock products as needed.

Job Status/Type: Full time

Position Level: Level II

Shift/ Schedule Requirements: Ability to work various shifts and days including nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

Performs inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and annual rehabilitation of a variety of different amusement rides and attractions, depending on level of employee. Areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to) maintenance of gearboxes, chains, sprockets, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, wire rope, hoists, brakes, pumps, and large bearings. Climbing and working safely at height is an essential part of this job.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Performs daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and other required inspections of amusement rides and related equipment as assigned, taking corrective actions as issues are identified. Inspections are visual as well as auditory.
• Trouble shoots a variety of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems and takes appropriate corrective actions.
• Properly follows all repair procedures and maintains accurate documentation of all repairs. Maintains orderly and accurate records of all required inspections and work performed and submits required paperwork to supervision in a timely manner.
• Communicates the status of assigned rides both verbally and in written format.
• Maintains all assigned equipment in a safe and ready condition according to all applicable codes, laws, rules, company policies, and best practices.
• Reads, understands, and applies information from manufacturer’s manuals for service, repair and or component replacement. Accurately reads blueprints (mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic). Completes proper documentation as required.
• Interacts with and communicates with various groups and individuals, such as the immediate supervisor, other Park managers and staff, co-workers, guests, vendors, contractors, inspectors, etc.
• Provides guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guest, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving directions.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervisor.
• Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Meets Six Flag’s attendance requirements as outlined in Six Flag’s attendance policies.
• Adheres to Six Flag’s code of conduct including costuming and grooming standards as outlined in employees’ Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong knowledge of control processors, components, and communication networks used in real-time industrial applications. Strong proficiency in developing and reading one-line diagrams, and technical documents. Proficient at maintaining various rides and attractions. Good judgment, decision making and problem-solving skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. 

License or Certification: Must meet location-specific requirements to work on specific rides and attractions. State or provincial certifications and/or licensing within if applicable in state. Valid driver’s license. Welding certification preferred.

Experience: Typically requires 4-6 years mechanical maintenance experience, including at least 2 years working on rides.

Equivalency: Directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the above requirements.
