Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Miami, FL, for a Security Project Manager. Day-to-Day
The Research Associate will collect face and body data gathered from large-scale capture domes and VR headsets by:
- Staging and setting-up equipment for the study, which may include engaging with engineering, external equipment vendors, internal and external safety evaluators, and the research study team to ensure the equipment is set up properly.
- Conducting the study, including participant coaching and interaction, operating complex, experimental capture systems, and debriefing with team leadership as necessary
- Performing basic troubleshooting of capture systems (hardware and software) and escalate any bugs or issues using internal tools.
- Providing research study support, including data collection, tracking of participants, and tracking of equipment and procedures.
- Contributing to and/or update existing documentation.
- Serving as a participant for studies and being captured in various systems as needed.
- Completing project work related to captures such as recording and updating capture scripts.
- Attending all required trainings, meetings, and standups
- Providing feedback for process improvement areas
Expectations for Success
To be able to successfully execute on the day-to-day responsibilities above, the Research Associate is expected to:
- Review SOPs and other any other relevant documentation and consult with the responsible Lead for any questions or clarifications in advance of the capture.
- Stay up to date with process and SOP changes for frequently used systems.
- Arrive on-time for captures and allow additional time, if needed, to review unfamiliar systems or SOPs and for operational set up
- Arrive on-time and prepared with relevant information or materials for all required trainings, meetings, and standups.
- Approach each capture and project with ability and flexibility. Be prepared to quickly pivot to new tasks, approaches to capture, or steps in documented processes to keep the team moving forward, even during blocking events.
- Provide a comfortable and professional experience for participants (both internal and external) through all interactions including providing updates and breaks during troubleshooting or other capture-blocking events.
- Ensure highest quality and accuracy of data captured by maintaining a sterile and distraction-free capture environment.
- Escalate any issues to the Engineer Team and properly documenting, in-detail, the nature of the issue.
- Address any areas for improvement of the capture process in scheduled meetings and/or via internal feature request tools.
- Identify (or partner with the Team Lead(s)) projects and tasks that can be completed during larger blocking events and during planned and unplanned system downtime.

The Outside Machinist must possess knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform job operations/tasks on conventional and nuclear ships and submarines. The Outside Machinist must be assignable to any work center excluding nuclear and subsafe machinery.
The following is a list of typical work that an Outside Machinist might be asked to perform:
- Remove, repair, overhaul, install and align main propulsion machinery and associated equipment/components. Also remove, repair, overhaul, install, and align equipment associated with auxiliary systems such as condensers, compressors, pumps, forced draft blowers, main feed pumps, various types of valves, cargo handling machinery, anchor handling gear, boat davits, cranes, elevators, conveyors, firefighting equipment, machine shop equipment, galley, and laundry equipment.
- Install and repair foundations for operating machinery and principal structures/components of the ships armament.

Requirements:
- The welder is required to be on their feet for up to twelve hours using their hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear around machinery. They will also be required to frequently walk, stoop, kneel or crouch.
- The welder must be capable of lifting and moving up to 15 pounds; frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus on optical devices.
- Individuals will work near moving mechanical parts of machinery and electrically activated devices.
- Individuals are occasionally exposed to airborne particles.
- Perform math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Knowledge of decimals, fractions, and metric/English conversions
- Participate in continuous improvement activities that result in reducing variation and waste in the manufacturing process. Using a specified training format, work closely in training new welders
- Lift and position parts into fixtures.

As the Omni Associate you are accountable for contributing to profitable sales growth by executing Enterprise Fulfillment and activities and strategies to include Customer Service & Sales, Enterprise Fulfillment, operations, and general operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Customer Service & Sales: Greets and assists customers in finding products, delivering outstanding customer service; demonstrates customer service behaviors consistently; actively listens to customer issues in a calm and agreeable manner to resolve problems; actively promotes company products and services; partners with team members effectively.
- Enterprise Fulfillment: Monitors the Enterprise Fulfillment systems application, picks merchandise orders, and acknowledges completion in the system; accurately packs orders in accordance with packaging requirements and timelines; completes all Ship from Store and Buy Online Pickup in Store activities in a timely manner.
- Operations: Researches order shortages/overages and completes shipment check-in; completes order binning and system reporting to complete the processes; assists with overall organization and maintenance of stock area; processes order deliver and return transactions on the register.
- General Operations: Partners with Merchandise Associates/Assistants to replenish store and/or takes personal action to replenish products from inventory; participates in annual inventory process.
Performance Standards: Consistently meets established performance standards; including but not limited to: shrink and safety initiatives, Omnichannel, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.

- Work experience: Minimum 1-2 years
- Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience preferred; HS degree or equivalent is required
