Job Description
Marine Layer is seeking a Sr. Manager to shape the creative vision and strategic framework for window design across our fleet of 50+ stores. This newly created role will report directly to the Creative Director and serve as a primary thought partner to our Visual Merchandising team. This role will serve as a key bridge between seasonal brand storytelling and the physical expression of that story in our retail windows.
This role is for a creative leader who thinks like a campaign architect: someone who can translate big-picture brand and fashion narratives into a cohesive, repeatable, and elevated window design system that can be deployed across a diverse store fleet. You will define how Marine Layer shows up in the most public-facing canvas of our brandβon the street, in the window, and in the moment.
You will own the end-to-end creative direction of windowsβfrom outfitting, concept, and design strategy to scalable rollout.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve a multi-season window design strategy for all Marine Layer retail locations that reflects our brand point of view while allowing for flexibility by market, format, and store size.
- Translate seasonal fashion campaigns into window design narratives, ensuring alignment with brand storytelling, product priorities, and key retail moments.
- Develop and present a clear, creative vision for windows to senior leadership, articulating how each seasonβs concept ladders up to broader brand strategy.
- Lead the creative and strategic arc of window programs, from ideation and design direction through production approach, rollout framework, and post-install evaluation.
- Establish success criteria for window programs, blending qualitative brand impact with measurable signals such as engagement and store performance.
- Act as the steward of window design quality and consistency across the fleet, ensuring the creative intent is maintained in execution.
- Partner closely with Store Operations and Visual teams to ensure concepts are scalable, feasible, and operationally efficient across different store formats.
- Create design toolkits, playbooks, and guidelines that enable strong, consistent execution while still allowing for local nuance.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, fabricators, and installers, owning creative briefings, timelines, and budgets.
Qualifications
- 4 - 6+ years of experience in brand experience, environmental design, creative production, or related fields within a premium or specialty apparel retail context.
- Aesthetic POV and understanding of fundamental design principles.
- A strong creative POV with a passion for Marine Layer and an appreciation for thoughtful, understated brand expression.
- Proven experience translating seasonal campaigns or brand narratives into physical retail environments. Experience in an apparel retail environment is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated success developing scalable creative systems that can be implemented across a multi-store fleet.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator), SketchUp, or other 3D rendering software for creating visual mockups.
- Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and complex production timelines.
- Highly collaborative leader who can influence across Creative, Marketing ,and Visual Merchandising.
- Comfortable using data insights, and store feedback to refine and evolve creative programs over time.

Weβre seeking an experienced Senior Retail Display Designer, to lead the creative direction, design, and execution of window displays across Ediktedβs domestic and international retail locations. This role is highly hands-on and combines conceptual thinking with on-site installation, travel, and cross-functional collaboration.

Creative Concept & Design

The Senior Visual Merchandiser is responsible for the overall merchandise presentation in multiple markets. You will travel frequently throughout assigned markets and conduct store visits to guarantee an exemplary presentation of all brands and ensure store teams are well-trained in maintaining DTLR Visual Merchandising standards. The role of Senior Visual Merchandiser is fast-
paced and requires frequent travel. It is necessary to have a strong passion for merchandising standards with a keen understanding of the DTLR brand to create extraordinary window and in-store displays to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
β’ Responsible for multiple markets to create and maintain a compelling merchandise presentation that will engage customer experience and stimulate sales activity.
β’ Analyze historical sales performance and use to influence merchandising strategies for anniversary time periods.
β’ Complete daily walkthroughs at store using Workforce Experience app to ensure visual merchandising is kept to the highest standards.
β’ Submit daily photo postings in Workforce Experience app to show before and after work to be reviewed by Regional Visual Merchandising Manager
β’ Re-merchandise apparel and footwear setups, window presentations, in-store displays and point of sale area to maximize product sell through.
β’ Coordinate with Regional Visual Merchandising Manager in determining specific visual needs such as fixtures, lighting, photos, signage, and pricing concepts, point of sale, and execution of critical marketing campaigns.
β’ Implement the companyβs visual merchandising directives throughout the stores, but not limited to specialty concept with specific vendor compliance.
β’ Communicate with Store Managers and District Managers regarding each store visual merchandising successes and opportunities.
β’ Must provide daily and concise follow-through on all areas of merchandising via email.
β’ Must provide in the moment training to motivate and coach store teams about visual merchandising standards and maintenance.
β’ Lead and support visual merchandising aspects of new store openings/store remodels.

What you'll do:
- Lead our sales strategy and execution for the Fashion Retail vertical. Partner with internal stakeholders to develop a sales strategy that enables Pinterest to win the market by meeting partner marketing objectives, scaling partner media investment, and creating meaningful and sustainable revenue growth.
- Build and develop strong relationships with C-level executives across advertisers and agencies.
- Deliver, Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends to senior leadership as they relate to your team's client partnerships.
- Shape the future of our Sales organization by building, training and motivating a high performing sales team with a strong inclusive culture to support emerging and established clients.
- Work cross-functionally to build cohesive partnerships with peers and internal stakeholders, including product, sales operations, and marketing.
What we're looking for:
- 10+ years experience in Advertising, Digital, and/or Media Sales and established industry relationships and experience forging strong relationships with marketing leaders & C-suite at the client and agency.
- 3+ years management experience and proven track record of managing a world-class sales team, including extensive forecasting experience and achieving or exceeding revenue goals.
- Deep understanding and established network with Fashion advertisers in the US.
- Knowledge of brand and performance advertising (e.g.Search/Shopping/Display/Social advertising) and measurement solutions.
- Experience reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals.
- Strong understanding of performance, data, and measurement landscapes, with demonstrated experience using data and trends to develop winning strategies.
- Ability to interface with cross functional teams including product and engineering to synthesize customer needs and feedback.
- An individual that thrives in a fast-moving environment and is independently capable of seeking information, corralling resources, and delivering results.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Business administration or sales management, or equivalent experience.

The role of the Senior Manager of Payments and Fraud is to drive the strategy to optimize approval rates, payment provider fees, chargebacks, and ensure compliance with regulations. This person will be comfortable developing and utilizing reporting to identify areas for opportunity and optimization, working cross-functionally to implement changes, manage payment providers, and directing the operations of the fraud team.
Major Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop and utilize reporting on approval rates, payment fees, and chargebacks to drive strategic and operational decisions
- Work cross-functionally to implement changes to payments and fraud systems or integrations
- Own payment and fraud KPIβs
- Manage relationships with payment and fraud vendors
- Balance chargeback and fraud risk with approval rates
- Understand ecommerce fraud environment and quickly react to new fraud trends
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and enhance internal tools and manage integrations
- Manage the fraud team
- Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards related to payments and fraud
Required Competencies:

- BA/BS required
- Minimum of 5+ experience managing payment, ecommerce fraud management, financial services, or related field
- Experience leading a team
- Experience with domestic and international processors and networks, and alternative payments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective solutions and processes
- Familiarity with regulations and industry standards related to payment and fraud
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- SQL experience a plus
