Position Summary
The Quality Control Manager supports ASME Code Certification programs (Sections I, III, and VIII) by managing and maintaining the company’s quality control system in accordance with ASME and NQA-1 requirements. This role focuses on day-to-day quality control operations in fabrication, welding, inspection, and documentation, while assisting with audit readiness and program development for Code of Authorization renewals and applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and improve the company’s Quality Control Manual (QCM) to comply with ASME Section I (Power Boilers), Section III Div1 (Nuclear Facility Components), and Section VIII Div 1(Pressure Vessels), in accordance with NQA-1 quality assurance requirements.
- Develop, document, and maintain the Quality Control Program, ensuring it addresses all applicable ASME Code Section requirements, including organization, document control, material traceability, welding, NDE, calibration, and corrective actions.
- Ensure all principal quality documents are maintained in English and in the language used by plant personnel.
- Supervise daily QC activities including incoming material inspections, welding process verification, in-process and final inspections, and Code documentation control.
- Prepare and maintain Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder/Welding Operator Qualification (WPQ) records to meet ASME Section IX and relevant Code of Construction requirements (Sections I, III, VIII).
- Coordinate and/or oversee the qualification of Nondestructive Examination (NDE) personnel and the preparation and approval of NDE procedures that comply with ASME Section V and the applicable Code of Construction.
- Manage subcontracted NDE services and establish in-house capability for basic examination disciplines such as Visual (VT) and Liquid Penetrant (PT).
- Coordinate with the Authorized Inspection Agency (AIA) or Authorized Nuclear Inspector (ANI) for inspections, data review, and sign-off of ASME Code Data Reports
- Ensure full material traceability, weld documentation, and record retention in accordance with Code and regulatory requirements.
- Review fabrication, test, and inspection records for conformance to drawings, specifications, and Code requirements.
- Manage and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Requests (CARs) promptly and effectively.
- Lead and participate in internal quality audits and support external audits or ASME Joint Reviews for Sections I, III, and VIII.
- Support implementation, maintenance, and renewal of the company’s ASME Certificate of Authorization programs associated with these Code Sections.
- Provide Code-compliance training to shop, welding, and inspection personnel on quality procedures and documentation practices.
- Maintain calibration and control of all inspection and test equipment as required by the Quality Control Manual and ASME Codes.
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering — or equivalent technical experience (5+ years) in code fabrication, welding, or inspection.
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent.
Experience:
• 3–7 years of quality control or fabrication experience in a code-regulated manufacturing environment (pressure vessels, boilers, or nuclear components).
• Exposure to ASME Section I, Section III, and Section VIII Div. 1 design and fabrication requirements preferred.
• Experience supporting or maintaining ASME Certificates of Authorization programs (e.g., U, S, N) is desirable.
• Familiarity with Authorized Inspection Agencies (AIA), Code Data Report preparation, and documentation packages.
Knowledge:
• Working knowledge of ASME Section IX – Welding qualifications (WPS/PQR/WPQ).
• Working knowledge of ASME Section V – Nondestructive Examination methods and procedure requirements.
• Understanding of ASME NQA-1 and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B for nuclear quality assurance.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, and material specifications.
• Understanding of calibration, inspection, and traceability requirements under multiple ASME Codes.
Skills:
• Strong documentation and organizational skills; ability to maintain compliance across multiple Code sections.

Preferred Certifications:

Responsibilities
- Maintain physical filing systems for QA documentation, including scanning, filing, archiving, and retrieval of controlled records.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Controls Leader will provide key leadership with regard to power and control systems, equipment specification and maintenance, proper operation, technician development, troubleshooting and repair to achieve or exceed reliability targets the plant. This role has responsibility for systems optimization, compliance, personnel safety and technician skill development relative to plant electrical power and process control systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists primary administrator and troubleshooter for plant power and control systems and is a key member of plant technical leadership.
- Provides input to the Engineering Projects Manager to develop and manage power and control standards and ensure application of the standards on all projects and upgrades.
- Leads the execution of the site masterplan for power and controls systems to include understanding of the installed base, and replacement plan for obsolete equipment/technologies.
- Builds and maintains a sustainable system for plant Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) technicians skill development. Coaches technicians on skill assessment and development of operating within the department.
- Manages Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) technicians and daily direction setting.
- Knows, communicates, and ensures technician compliance to local and national regulator codes (NFPA 70, NFPA 70e, NFPA 79 and OSHA 1910). Is also responsible for ensuring equipment and safe practice compliance in their area of responsibility.
- Responsible for validation of the MES data from PLCs. Support plant Process Engineers in conditioning PLC data to accommodate effective data analysis including application development.
- Provides support in the design and implementation of machine control and process automation applications, such as: control strategies, HMI design, MES applications and KPI development.
- Works with engineering and operations to identify losses, and develop plans and strategies to eliminate them, in the areas of safety, quality, reliability and cost.
- Owns parts or whole Key Elements for systems related to power and control system such as electrical safety (LOTO, Electrical PPE, Energized work permits, low voltage qualification, etc.) and Quality/CCP compliance (checkweighers, metal detectors, vision systems, ingredient flows, temperatures, etc.).
- Works closely with engineering and operations leaders on selection and installation/start-up of new equipment. Becomes the technical expert on new equipment and ensures the training of others regarding control systems.
- Provides power and controls engineering support on capital initiatives.
- Provides support throughout other parts of the plant as needed on a daily basis.
- Learns and applies control, simulation and process modeling technologies to analyze and improve overall process and packaging operations.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required; Electrical engineering degree is preferred
Experience
- 5 years of relevant controls experience is required
- Manufacturing experience is preferred
- Mechanical and electrical experience in food manufacturing is preferred

Position Responsibilities:
Perform pickup, rework, authorized changes, and functional checks on work typically installed or assembled by lower classifications.
Use a tension meter to set cable tension according to specifications.
Conduct reaming and riveting as necessary to complete work assignments.
Report job handicaps, such as errors in parts, materials, or assembly procedures, following shop procedures.
Select appropriate parts, materials, and tools, and work with blueprints, assembly pages, and work orders to install and adjust cable-controlled systems in the aircraft.
Review bar charts or automated timelines to determine job assignments and obtain necessary drawings.
Locate work areas using drawings or paperwork that specify airplane and section numbers.
Verify kitted parts against installation plans and bill of materials to ensure they are correct and free of defects.
Obtain parts from the Parts Control Area if they are not pre-picked, ensuring they meet specifications.
Drill, ream, and countersink holes in parts/assemblies per specifications, using appropriate tools.
Disassemble parts and deburr holes to prepare for fastener installation.
Use solvents to clean surfaces prior to sealing or assembly, and apply sealants, alodine, primers, adhesives, and special finishes as required.
Install cable control pulleys and rig control cables according to drawings and specifications.
Check and adjust actuator motors for full travel of flight control systems using power sources and hand tools.
Clean the work area and ensure the removal of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and submit completed jobs or in-process checks to inspectors as required.
Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:
Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.

Essential Functions:
This Program Cost Control Analyst position will, under minimal supervision, interface with the program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements.

Role & Responsibilities

Schedule Management
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6
- Monitor schedule progress, identify critical path impacts, and perform schedule updates
- Support schedule analysis including forecasting, variance identification, and milestone tracking
Cost Control & Forecasting
- Perform cost analysis, forecasting, and budget tracking across project workstreams
- Support Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Estimate to Complete (ETC) processes
- Track project expenditures and support cost reporting aligned with project budgets
Earned Value & Performance Reporting
- Support Earned Value Management (EVM) processes including CPI/SPI performance analysis
- Prepare weekly and monthly project performance reports, including dashboards, KPIs, progress curves, and cost/schedule trends
- Provide data-driven insights to support project decision-making
Project Controls Integration
- Collaborate with Project Managers, engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to align project plans, progress updates, and forecasts
- Supporting integrated project controls processes across schedule, cost, risk, and change management
Change & Risk Management
- Support change control processes, evaluating impacts to project scope, cost, and schedule
- Assist with risk identification, analysis, and contingency planning
- Maintain documentation supporting project controls governance and reporting requirements
Qualifications / Requirements
- To succeed in this role, you bring: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of project controls experience supporting capital infrastructure projects
- Experience supporting Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and substation projects
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with cost management platforms such as SAP, EcoSys, Prism, or similar systems
- Solid understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) and project performance metrics
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as PMP, AACEI (CCP, PSP), or similar

Position Overview
We are seeking qualified Radiation Control Technicians (Level 3 & Level 4) to support radiological operations at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). These roles are critical to ensuring safe execution of work in high-hazard nuclear environments.
Candidates will support radiological control activities, enforce compliance with federal regulations, and work closely with operations and safety teams. Level 4 candidates will serve in a more senior capacity, providing leadership and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide radiological protection support for routine and high-hazard work activities
- Ensure compliance with 10 CFR 835 and site-specific procedures
- Perform workplace radiological monitoring, surveys, and data analysis
- Review and support Radiological Work Control Packages (RWCPs)
- Identify hazards and ensure appropriate radiological controls are implemented

Required Qualifications
RCT 3:
- High school diploma with 2–4 years of related experience (or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of radiation protection principles

RCT 4:
- High school diploma with 4–6+ years of related experience (or equivalent)
- Advanced knowledge of radiological controls and operational health physics
- Ability to work independently and lead complex work activities
For Both Levels:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-consequence environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at DOE, NNSA, or nuclear facilities

Key Responsibilities:
