Role Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Residential Architectural Designer with 3–5 years of experience in high-end residential design and remodeling. Conceptual Design & Visualization: Create and present the initial project vision.

  • Assist sales team on initial consultation, sending out drawings for bid and pricing projects. 
  • Collaborate with designers to develop creative solutions for kitchens, bathrooms, lower levels, and whole home remodels using 2020 and AutoCADsoftware.
  • Generate high quality renderings for sales proposals to help clients visualize design concepts.
  • Prepare detailed construction drawings if project is sold (tile layouts, electrical/lighting plans, elevations) to clearly communicate design intent and technical requirements.

Homeowner & Selections Management: Guide the client through the material choice process.

  • Assist homeowners with selection appointments at distributors. Research and recommend high quality materials and finishes that reflect the client’s aesthetic vision and budget.
  • Reprice projects based on chosen selections.
  • Order all selection materials (cabinets, flooring, countertops, tile, etc.). Checking orders to ensure accuracy

Construction Coordination & Pre-Planning: Work with Clients, Trade Partners, and Project Managers (PMs) to ensure a cohesive design and smooth project delivery.

  • Conduct site visits to take measurements, document existing conditions to ensure accurate construction documentation.
  • Meet with trade partners (mechanical, structural, electrical, etc.) to price out changes early in the selection process.
  • Participate in the onsite preconstruction meeting for project handoff to the PM.
  • Assist the PM with change orders, job costing, and outlining the project schedule.

Administrative & Marketing Support: Provide overall team assistance.

  • Apply for building permits.
  • Prepare jobsite folders.
  • Participate in trade shows, tour of remodeled homes and networking events.

Qualifications

This includes, but is not limited to heaters, boilers, ducting, vessels, piping, valves, and structural steel. Position Overview

Job Responsibilities

Interpret and implement medical prescriptions for speech-language pathology services, ensuring appropriateness for the home care environment

Conduct thorough assessments in the patient's home using standardized tools to evaluate communication, cognitive-linguistic function, voice, fluency, and swallowing abilities

Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that reflect both short- and long-term patient goals, with attention to the home environment and available resources

Adjust treatment strategies based on patient progress, caregiver input, and observed response to therapy, ensuring goals remain functional and achievable in the home setting

Document all assessments, interventions, patient progress, and caregiver interactions using electronic or paper records in compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards

Ensure documentation supports reimbursement criteria and meets all required timelines and confidentiality regulations, including HIPAA and agency-specific guidelines

Provide education and training to patients and caregivers on communication strategies, compensatory techniques, and safe swallowing practices within the context of daily home routines

Establish strong rapport and effective communication with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care

Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and care planning discussions to align therapy goals with overall care plans and discharge readiness

Collaborate with care managers and vendors to recommend and coordinate the provision of durable medical equipment or assistive technology when indicated

Maintain professional licensure through ongoing continuing education, and stay current with clinical best practices relevant to home-based speech-language pathology

Assist in mentoring peers or evaluating competencies of other clinicians as needed, contributing to team development and quality of care

Position Qualifications

Minimum Required:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or current candidate in a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)

Current New York State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Current CPR certification

Preferred:

Previous clinical experience

Experience working with dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorders
