Qualifications

The Opportunity

We are hiring a Point of Care Solutions Specialist in our Abbott Point of Care (APOC) Division selling to hospitals in S. LA including New Orleans.

The Point of Care Solution Specialist works independently within an assigned territory leading commercial execution to increase market share and drive sustainable growth. Working in a collaborative environment, the Sales Specialist will partner with internal support team members to identify opportunities and create strategies that move sales cycles forward. Certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurse’s Credentialing Center or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners 

Ability to qualify for Illinois and DEA prescribing numbers 

BLS and ACLS certification 

PA 

Required: Masters Degree 

Graduate of an approved physician's Assistant program. 

Hold a certificate issued by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. 

Pass the Physicians Assistants National Certifying Examination.  

Hold an unencumbered Illinois Physician's Assistant license. 

Complete all requirements (CEU's and passing exam every 6 years) to have an active license. 

Required: 2 years ICU experience with cardiac surgery focus 

Preferred: 3-5 years critical care experience 

Pay Range: $109,304 - $180,336 per year  

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
