VP - CS Role Overview:
Milestone is seeking a strategic, revenue-oriented VP of Customer Experience & Success to own retention, expansion, partnerships, and customer outcomes across a global customer base.
This is a revenue-adjacent executive role, accountable for GRR, NRR, churn reduction, expansion ARR, payback period, and customer lifetime value—not just customer satisfaction.
The VP - CS will design and operate a modern, AI-powered Customer Success engine, spanning onboarding through expansion, while leading distributed teams across the US, India, Canada, and Mexico.

The VP - CS will be entrusted with solving systemic, enterprise-level challenges including:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Customer Success & Revenue Ownership
- Own and improve GRR, NRR, churn, expansion ARR, CLV, and cohort health
- Operate and forecast a multi-million-dollar global book of business
- Design and run end-to-end scalable and repeatable lifecycle playbooks:
- Onboarding → Adoption → Value Realization → Renewal → Expansion
- Establish a rigorous operating cadence:
- QBRs, executive reviews, health scoring, churn risk models, expansion pipelines
- Directly align CS outcomes with Company OKRs and board-level metrics
- Own the creation of systematic, built-in expansion engines so that customers adopting the Milestone product stack have defined, automatic ARR growth year over year.
2. Global Leadership & Operating Rigor
- Lead and scale 60+ global team members across CS, PS, Support, and CS Ops
- Implement clear playbooks, SLAs, escalation models, and governance
- Drive tight cross-functional alignment with Sales, Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Delivery
- Lead change management for:
- New processes
- Pricing & packaging shifts
- AI-enabled workflows and tooling
3. MarTech, Hospitality & Banking Domain Leadership
- Bring deep expertise in MarTech ecosystems:

This attorney will be the second U.S.-based attorney, reporting to the U.S.-based general counsel and joining a growing team of attorneys and compliance specialists who are in Shanghai.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with internal and external clients in various countries, adapting to an ever-changing geopolitical environment, and maintaining a generalist mindset while focusing on contracts and compliance.
This attorney will be working with salespeople and customers around the globe, providing legal advice to internal clients not only in the U.S., but also in our offices in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, India, the United Kingdom, and Serbia, and working with our in-house legal team in China.
This is a great opportunity for a lawyer to maintain expertise in commercial contracting and compliance while developing skills and expertise over a broad range of matters.

Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including sales and services agreements, inbound and outbound IP and software licensing agreements, NDA’s, procurement agreements, and various other agreements, and monitor existing agreements
- Provide guidance on compliance matters and develop and implement compliance programs.
- Counsel internal clients on a range of legal topics, including intellectual property, commercial law, competition, and other legal and regulatory areas.
- Collaborate with the global legal team to develop and implement best practices and policies in the areas of contracting, licensing, and compliance.
- Assist with other matters as they arise: data privacy, export control, employment law, entity management, corporate governance, litigation.
Requirements:
- J.D. degree and license in at least one U.S. state bar (preferably California or New York).
- 7+ years of experience at a top law firm or similar in-house role.
- Experience working with hardware in a High-Tech industry — electronics, electronic devices, IC manufacture or design, test or manufacturing equipment, etc. Strong preference for candidates with experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Keen attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent organizational skills.

SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that ensure the company secures the highest-quality materials, components, and services at the most competitive cost. This role conducts supplier research, negotiates agreements, manages supplier performance, and partners closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and Quality to support business objectives and long-term growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Regular Functions include:
- Develops and implements sourcing strategies for assigned categories to support cost, quality, and delivery goals.
- Identifies, evaluates, and onboards new suppliers that meet technical, financial, and operational requirements.
- Conducts competitive bids, RFQs, cost analyses, and price-break evaluations.
- Negotiates pricing, terms, service level agreements (SLAs), and long-term supplier contracts.
- Monitors supplier performance using defined KPIs (PPV, quality, delivery, cost savings) and leads corrective actions as needed.
- Establishes strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability, continuity, and innovation.
- Analyzes total cost of ownership and identifies opportunities for cost savings or value improvements.
- Leads cost-reduction initiatives in collaboration with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations.
- Evaluates alternative materials, production methods, and logistics strategies that reduce cost without compromising quality.

- Develops contingency plans for key suppliers or product lines.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Tracks, analyzes, and reports key sourcing metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Maintains accurate supplier records, contracts, pricing, and performance documentation.
- Drives continuous improvement in sourcing processes and tools.
- Participates in periodical audits to ensure meeting policies and procedures.

- Prepares and delivers presentations.
- Travel will be required (approx. up to 20%).
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership and oversight for two Sourcing Specialists within the Supply Chain teams
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management
- 5+ years of sourcing, procurement, or supplier management experience, preferably in manufacturing, automotive, diesel engine, or industrial components.
- Required experience with international suppliers, with a strong preference for sourcing in Asian countries (e.g., China, India).
Professional/Technical Training and Skills include:
- Demonstrates knowledge of reading blueprints
