Winder Operator Under the general direction of the Extrusion Lead Operator, this position is responsible for the management of a manufacturing area to ensure the safe and efficient utilization of manpower, machinery and materials to produce quality products.

Responsibilities: Maintain a well organized roll area, always utilizing all film and having little or no overruns Troubleshoot equipment doing all tasks they can do without maintenance Work with Extrusion Lead and maintenance to resolve reliability concerns on winders Make necessary adjustments on equipment to obtain good film The ability to perform all mechanical adjustments necessary for the production of good product.

Maintaining good roll geometry by making necessary adjustments to the winder Keeping winder frames and treaters and all rollers clean Adjust frames and understanding when this is an issue Maintain a good supply of CLEAN cores Pulling up machines remembering that this is the number one objective Perform quality checks of material being produced and related documentation Maintain a clean and safe work area Candidate Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Demonstrated mechanical ability preferred Ability to work 12-hour day and night rotating shifts Ability to work diplomatically and civilly with all team members Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required Satisfactorily complete training courses as determined by management Must have an excellent safety and attendance record, job consistency, positive attitude, and a commitment to quality.
