National law firm has an immediate opening for a skilled and experienced legal assistant in civil litigation in its Phoenix office. Qualified candidates must have 5 years of relevant experience in a legal assistant position in insurance defense, with construction defect experience a plus. This position is hybrid and will require you to come into the office 3 days per week. Therefore, you must live in the greater Phoenix area - no exceptions.
Skills and Responsibilities, include but are not limited to the following:
- e-filing experience in Arizona, both State and Federal court
- Familiar with civil, arbitration procedures/filings
- Maintain attorneys calendar by planning and scheduling meetings, depositions, mediations, teleconferences, and travel
- Have the ability to communicate with outside law firms to schedule depositions and other meetings as needed
- Proof and finalize correspondence, pleadings, discovery, motions, and prepare routine shell macros
- Ability to prepare and file pleading documents and discovery documents while consulting with the attorney
- Be able to open and close legal files
- Handle general correspondence between outside law firms, clients, and insurance carriers
- Heavy document management organizational skills
- Record and track deadlines through docketing and calendar system
- Assist multiple attorneys
- Trial preparation

This role will partner closely with business stakeholders and the ServiceNow platform team to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions within the ServiceNow ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings a strong balance of technical ServiceNow expertise and business analysis capabilities, along with excellent communication skills to lead effective discussions around business needs and platform capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into ServiceNow workflows, configurations, and platform enhancements.
- Support design and implementation of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, and business service requests.
- Develop and maintain documentation such as process flows, user stories, and technical specifications.
- Assist with testing, validation, and deployment of ServiceNow solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow-related issues.
- Partner with the ServiceNow platform team and broader IT organization to ensure solutions align with business goals and technical standards.
- Facilitate conversations between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements and platform capabilities.
Required Qualifications
