Salary: $17.92 - $23.83 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications

ROLE AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The Project Secretary - Early Colleges is responsible for serving as a liaison for the Counseling Department by coordinating activities and exchanging information with Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI), Mott Community College and Genesee Early College, and our fiscal agent.
Essential Duties (May include, but not limited to):
  • Serves as a liaison between the assigned program(s), other ISD programs, and staff from the constituent schools districts and business/community partners.
  • Collaborates with other staff within the department to ensure consistent workflow and timely completion of department activities.
  • Schedules, coordinates, promotes, and attends meetings/events/activities in assigned area as required by the position.
  • Prepares written correspondence, complex reports, and newsletters as requested.
  • Assists with preparation and distribution of materials for meetings, programs, and training activities.
  • Maintains confidential information, files, and accurate records.
  • Creates and maintains accurate, up-to-date database in support of department activities, events, and programs.
  • Coordinates distribution of reports and materials to other ISD programs and staff from the constituent school districts and business/community partners.
  • Assists department director and/or Secretary(s) in data collection, data entry, data analysis, and data reporting for research or evaluation as directed.
  • Verifies and analyzes the accuracy of all data and information used or generated by project; resolves any discrepancies or problems.
  • Responsible for assisting department director and/or assigned Secretary(s) with planning and coordinating instructional programs/services for staff and/or students to include tracking attendance and maintaining program records and credit information.
  • Enforces decisions made by the supervisor and/or administrator.
  • Synchronizes all of the operations involved in the successful completion of a particular project (i.e. enrollment, dual enrollment, pupil count).
  • Prepares records of project activities; oversees and ensures the timely processing in and the delivery of required materials.
  • Consistently models Win-Win leadership.
Other Duties:
  • Performs routine tasks necessary to carry out assigned responsibilities in the department.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma/equivalent plus thirty (30) hours of coursework or study beyond high school required. College level coursework in office administration, business, or technology preferred. Associates degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum three years experience in a business office or educational agency required.
Skills/Other:
Demonstrated effective use of word processing, spreadsheet, and database management software required. Competent in the use of the Internet. Ability to pass proficiency testing at the intermediate level in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel and/or Access, business math, spelling, and typing (45 wpm) required. Ability to utilize district technology and work to maintain proficiency, as skill sets change with technology and/or the needs of the district. Ability to solve problems logically and effectively, to work independently, to manage multiple tasks, and demonstrate effective time management skills. Works successfully as a member of a team and demonstrates leadership skills. Excellent oral, written, electronic, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work a flexible workday, work week, and work year. Punctuality and good attendance are requirements for the position. Demonstrated mental/physical ability and stamina for meeting the essential duties of the position. Discretion with confidential information. Good teamwork and leadership skills. Guidance Counselor Position Overview

The Guidance Counselor will serve as a mission-aligned guide for students and families, helping them discern and prepare for post–high school pathways—college, trade, ministry, or other callings—in a manner consistent with Mount Academy’s Christian vision. About the Role

We’re seeking a dynamic, articulate, and adaptable Programs Manager (AI Curriculum for HigherEd)to support the global expansion and US localization of our AI education programs.

This role involves delivery, curriculum creation, and program development, ideal for someone confident in discussing AI with non-technical audiences, passionate about learning, and eager to influence AI upskilling’s future. You’ll lead technical Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions with professors from community colleges and universities both virtually and in-person helping them develop/integrate technical AI concepts as part of their certifications/degrees.


This role blends delivery, curriculum design, and program development, ideal for a flexible, self-motivated individual with a growth mindset who thrives in ambiguous environments, constantly finding solutions to new problems.


Key Responsibilities

1. AI Programs Training & Facilitation (TTT Model)

  • Lead virtual and in-person technical Train-the-Trainer (TTT) workshops across US, supporting partners in vocational education and workforce institutions worldwide.
  • Ensure participants understand the content and are equipped to customize it for local contexts and learner needs.
  • Develop and implement standardized training regimens and SOPs tailored for cross-cultural, regional, and state-wide implementation partners.
  • Translate core AI, ML, DL, and Python concepts into engaging, beginner-friendly lessons sensitive to language diversity and digital fluency levels - but also able to deliver technical concepts like Maths for AI, Data science, and Agentic AI topics in depth.
  • Conduct engaging and informative training sessions utilizing a standardized curriculum.


2. US Programme & Business Development (SMEs, Colleges, Universities, K12, communities)

  • Manage the continuity and expansion of SLL's US programs, particularly within its extensive network of 140+ community colleges and universities spanning 40+ states.
  • Work with the team to position SL2 as a leading partner in AI and emerging tech education for the US community college and vocational sector.
  • Scale educational programs with school districts, community colleges, and universities, focusing on out-of-school programs and boot camps.
  • Scale AI Community Engagements with clubs, societies, and foundations.
  • Identify and articulate compelling use-case stories for workforce development partnerships.
  • Support engagements with colleges, government agencies, and employers to co-develop bespoke AI education pathways.


3. Content Development and Productization

  • Collaborate with internal teams to evolve and update existing programs and co-create new offerings.
  • Lead the creation of slide decks, training decks, and other content as a core part of the role.
  • Contribute to productizing key experiential learning offerings such as hands-on coding challenges and platform-based simulated work experiences.
  • Help localize material for US-based institutions, aligning with skills frameworks and employer demand.
  • Co-deliver experiential coding/skilling events, ensuring the core product is designed for global scalability and is adaptable to various educational levels, including tailoring project focus for different competitions for community college and university students.


What We're Looking For

  • HigherEd/SME Training Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Higher Ed, training, or facilitation working with HigherEd/SMEs, including at least 2 years focused on technical or digital skills. Experience working across cultures and time zones is highly valued.
  • Tech & Learning Aptitude: Intermediate to high knowledge of Python and AI/ML/DL/Agentic AI/Maths for AI/Data concepts. Strong personal interest in the evolving AI landscape and comfort with explaining complex topics to beginners. Experience or enthusiasm for Vibe Coding, digital hackathons, or collaborative prototyping is a plus.
  • Communication & Facilitation: Fluent, clear-spoken English and strong public speaking skills. Able to adjust tone, pace, and clarity based on audience (e.g., teachers vs. college professors vs. workforce leaders). A strong presence on MS Teams/Zoom or in person - whether running a classroom session, hackathon, or partner presentation.

  • Support the Center for Community Schools (CCS) by providing technical assistance and support to Community Schools; Coordinate expansion of the Center for Community Schools technical assistance and support practices.


  • Assist with UCF certification readiness process and evaluation efforts; Assist with required quarterly reporting for state grants regarding CCS and statewide subcontracts including end-of-year reports and analysis.


  • Prepare submissions to support center communications and needs; Keep current inventory of all networks of community schools and Community Partnership School partners.


  • Lead Training and Development opportunities for statewide community school partners and efforts; Prepare and deliver presentation, event, and professional development support as needed.


  • Provide assistance with development from emerging, developing and implementing community schools; Provide detailed reports regarding development and advancement of implemented community schools sites.


  • Identify and develop needed community school materials to improve best practices in the field.


  • Lead outreach activities to districts and communities to communicate information regarding community school advancement practices and opportunities.


  • Maintain documentation, provide technical assistance and support, and assist with preparation of manuscripts, reports and resource materials.


  • Other duties as assigned to advance the vision and mission of the center advancing community schools statewide.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Demonstrated background working within Social Work, Community Schools or Community Partnership Schools models preferred.


  • 1+ year of experience providing technical assistance, coaching, or capacitybuilding support to schools, nonprofits, or government agencies.


  • Experience working with grants, nonprofit organizations, and cross-sector partners.


  • Skilled in developing and delivering professional development workshops, webinars, and trainings for educational audiences.


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or a similar datatracking and reporting platform.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation and coaching.


  • Demonstrated time management, organization, and project coordination skills.


  • Ability to build and sustain positive, collaborative working relationships within a team environment.


Special Instructions to the Applicants:


  • The anticipated salary range for this position is $56,030 - $68,637. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.


  • Position requires a valid Class E driver's license. This position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus to conduct University business.

Overview

Altorfer Ag Products has partnered with Parkland College to establish the AGCO Service Technician program, a 2-year program for entry-level agricultural equipment service technicians. The purpose of this program is to train technicians to service AGCO and other products and obtain full-time employment after graduating the program. Altorfer sponsors certain students to attend the program and upon completing the program student will earn an Associate in Applied Science degree.



Basic Duties

The AGCO Service Technician Program is a great opportunity for anyone interested in going to school to learn a skilled trade in a high-demand industry. Students will go through a two-year curriculum where they rotationally attend Parkland College, in Champaign, IL for 16 weeks and then attend a Altorfer AG Products branch to complete an 8 week internship. This rotation continues throughout the duration of the program.

  • During internship students will perform in shop service and repairs at our Clinton, Illinois shop.
  • Focusing primarily on AGCO's product line (Terragators, Fendt Rogators, Spra Coupe, Fendt tractors and other product lines) while at the dealer store.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical and all other systems.
  • May perform other related duties as requested and/or assigned.


Qualifications

  • If sponsored, students must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA while attending Parkland college.
  • Possess good communication skills and able to lift 75-100lbs.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

This position will go to school Parkland College and represent Altorfer. During the internship and upon graduating this position works in a shop environment. May on a continuous basis walk, bend, climb on/off equipment and lift up to 75-100lbs. May be required to wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- Safety glasses or side shields and steel toed shoes/boots) when needed. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. May intermittently sit at a desk for a period of time to answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through email. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
