sera responsable de :
a) S'assurer que les pièces et matériaux soient acheminés dans l'usine

chariots élévateurs dans l'accomplissement de ses fonctions;
b) Différentes fonctions cléricales nécessaires à l'accomplissement de cet
acheminement;
c) La disponibilité des rapports afin de permettre au département du
contrôle de la production de contrôler le progrès du travail effectué;
d) Contrôler les espaces réservés pour fins de rétention dans les ateliers
et la réquisition de matériel;
e) Remplacer le personnel clérical du département, contrôle de la
production, si nécessaire.
La présente définition ne restreint en aucune façon le personnel salarié du
département de contrôle de la production d'accomplir n'importe laquelle des
fonctions cléricales énumérées plus haut, sans toutefois déplacer les
contrôleurs de l'acheminement

Exigences de base :
Diplôme d'études secondaires
Capacité à effectuer des tâches manuelles/physiques
Organisé et possède des compétences informatiques de base
Bilingue (français et anglais) parlé et écrit

Exigences préférées :
Un (1) à trois (3) années d'expérience pertinente dans un environnement aéronautique

Essential Responsibilities

Duties to include but not limited to the following:

I. Receipt and Delivery of Materials

  • Deliver and pick up bulk/packaged material from suppliers or to customers in a safe, legal, and fuel-efficient manner
  • Assist with loading or unloading of trailer using walking floor and sometimes pallet jack

Summary: Responsible for a variety of tasks that requires knowledge and/or ability to learn both production equipment and major utility systems. Will work closely with a Class 3 Mechanic or mentor. This is a training/apprentice level. Ability to progress and desire to learn of high importance.

1. PM's will be done on a daily basis.

2. Troubleshoot and repair production equipment in production operations, utilities, buildings & grounds, etc.

3. Maintains machines with respect to bearings, assembly, disassembly, power transmission, rigging, and lubrication.

5. Learns to do rudimentary pipefitting of water, steam, and air lines with steel, plastic, and copper pipe materials.

6. Performs routing preventative maintenance on designated equipment. Will assist upper class mechanic on major overhauls. Learns to identify potential issues and reports these to the necessary persons.

7. Attention to detail and accuracy in work required.

8. Clear communication abilities, written and verbal.

9. Knowledge of computer software helpful.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Strong HVAC required.
  • Previous food manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Mechanical experience necessary, electrical abilities necessary.

The College of Engineering is seeking to fill a temporary Administrative Manager position. The role will provide direct supervision and daytoday leadership to an administrative support team, including workload distribution, providing guidance and performance feedback, and serving as an escalation point for operational issues. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for administrative operations during a period of transition, ensuring continuity of operations and coverage.

The Administrative Manager will oversee daily administrative operations, monitor service levels, and ensure consistent, highquality support for faculty, staff, students, and leadership. The role will also collaborate with internal stakeholders such as HR, finance, facilities, IT, and central offices to coordinate administrative needs, update leadership, and implement interim process improvements to address workflow gaps as needed.

The College of Computing, Data Science, and Society at the University of California, Berkeley invites applications for a pool of qualified temporary lecturers to teach CDSS courses should an opening arise. Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. The number of positions varies from semester to semester (fall, spring and summer sessions), depending on the needs of the unit.



About CDSS:



Established July 1, 2023, the College of Computing, Data Science, and Society (CDSS) is the first new college at Berkeley in over 50 years. The College was created to meet the demands and opportunities at a time when data touches nearly every aspect of our lives. Innovations in computing and statistics are converging to create unprecedented opportunities to use data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to tackle pressing societal challenges from human health to climate change.



CDSS offers outstanding undergraduate major programs in Computer Science, Data Science, and Statistics. Over 1,500 students graduated with a degree in these majors in Spring 2024, and one in four held a second major in another discipline. CDSS undergraduates study with faculty from a wide range of fields, where they gain the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to succeed in today's datafied world, interact with data ethically, and masterfully engage as informed leaders.



CDSS seeks candidates who can support the success of all students through inclusive curriculum, classroom environment, and pedagogy.



Responsibilities:



CDSS is seeking outstanding instructors to be appointed in the non-Senate Lecturer title series who can teach small and large courses. We are particularly interested in instructors who can teach courses that satisfy the Human and Social Dynamics of Data and Technology requirement for the college. This requirement is designed for the purpose of developing an understanding of how technology and data interact with human and societal contexts, including ethical considerations and applications such as education, health, law, natural resources, and public policy. Examples include: Anthropology of Science, Data, and Technology; Artificial Humanities: AI, Language, and Fiction; and Data and Justice.



Teaching a CDSS course may include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g.,slides, syllabus, homework assignments), providing clear and prompt feedback on student work, and maintaining the course website.
