Position Summary

Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation claims from initial consultation through resolution, including claim development, negotiation, hearings, and settlement. The Workers’ Compensation Associate Attorney advocates for injured workers, ensures compliance with procedural requirements, and supports the firm’s mission of securing fair compensation and benefits for clients.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation matters from intake through settlement or hearing.

• Consult with clients to evaluate workplace injury claims, explain the workers’ compensation process, and develop case strategy.

• Prepare and file workers’ compensation claims, motions, and other legal documents with the appropriate agencies or courts.

• Conduct legal research regarding statutes, case law, and regulations related to workers’ compensation claims.

• Gather and review medical records, employment records, and other evidence to support claims.

• Communicate with medical providers, insurers, and opposing counsel regarding claim status and case development.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Massachusetts.

2–5 years of experience handling workers’ compensation matters or related injury litigation.

• Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently while collaborating within a legal team.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary range: $80,000 – $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Main Purpose

As the Risk Manager (Risk Prevention and Risk Management) at Indeed Flex, you will hold overall accountability for the employer-side workers’ compensation claims management programme and provide strategic oversight to our highly successful, established EH&S department. Your mission is to bridge the gap between injury prevention and claims mitigation, creating a unified risk strategy within a fast-scaling staffing environment.

While you will act as a foundational 'builder' for the Workers’ Compensation claims framework—designing the strategy and selecting the tools from the ground up—you will provide high-level leadership to an existing EH&S Department. This role is about integration and alignment: ensuring that our proven safety successes directly influence our claims outcomes. You will lead one direct report initially, with the potential mandate to expand the Risk team as the Workers’ Compensation programme matures. You will be a hands-on Risk professional who will lead the day to day claims management and support the strategy for prevention and mitigation. This role sits within our Global Risk and Compliance team and reports directly to the Head of Risk and Compliance.


*This position is located onsite in Houston, TX or Austin,TX, five days per week, with the option to work from home on Thursdays.

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in Risk Management or Workers’ Compensation, ideally within staffing or a high-volume employment environment.

We are looking for an Associate Attorney for our St. Michael location. An experienced Attorney in our fast-paced Business Litigation Department, focusing on the defense of workers' compensation claims and other civil litigation matters. The successful candidate must have exceptional legal research, writing, and critical thinking ability; high academic achievement; excellent verbal and written advocacy at motion hearings and trial; and the capacity to organize, prioritize and multi-task. Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Represent employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in the defense of disputed workers' compensation claims in litigation before the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry and Court of Administrative Hearings.

Job Summary

The role of the Case Worker is to mitigate the impact of chronic 911 callers and to better protect our most vulnerable residents. The Case Worker facilitates access to social services and non-emergency medical services for vulnerable adults and families in crisis encountered by 911 responders within the Fire Department.

Distinguishing Characteristics: The Case Worker is a full-time civilian position working within the Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) program reporting to a Chief Officer. This position works in conjunction with Regional Crisis Response Agency Crisis Responders and other community partners. The Case Worker visits clients as part of a team with an Emergency Medical Technician.

The Case Worker I is an entry-level level position within the Case Worker job series. This classification is reserved for those with an associate license and/or master's degree. An employee in the Case Worker I classification will move to the Case Worker II classification when they are able to demonstrate that they have an independent clinical practice license from the Washington State Department of Health.

Minimum Qualifications:
