Position Summary: This position provides software quality assurance services for projects and systems.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Supports the development of deliverables, which include defines, performs and documenting product validation for new and/or modified applications.
• Investigates operational and process problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel.
• Maintains quality records and metrics status reports; guides and directs lower-level personnel on the setup and performance of quality controls.

The Boeing KC-46 “Pegasus” is the new US Air Force aerial refueling tanker aircraft designed to support multi-role missions including refueling, cargo/passenger transport, and medevac airlift. The KC-46 is a military commercial derivative aircraft based on the Boeing 767-2C aircraft and modified per US Air Force specifications for the primary mission of aerial refueling US and Allied aircraft.  The KC-46 is equipped with self-protection, defensive and communication systems making it more survivable in a contested environment.

We are seeking talented experienced software engineers to work with a multi-discipline engineering team to design and develop software solutions for these platforms. Position Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a multi-discipline engineering team to create and implement Operational Flight Program software solutions
• Contribute in all phases of the software development lifecycle in an Agile development environment
• Develop solutions using Ada, C#, and Python
• Test your software and assist system level testing to verify correct software functionality
• Analyze problem reports and troubleshooting software defects
• Develop leadership skills and experience

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• 3+ years of experience in real-time embedded software development
• 3+ years of experience in developing software using Object Oriented principles
• 3+ years of experience working in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or equivalent experiencestrongly preferred
• Active U.S. secret clearance
• Experience with Ada, Python, or C#
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment
• Experience with Git or a similar version control system
• Experience developing and tracing software requirements
