Project Engineer - Fluid Power Hydraulics

We're seeking a skilled Project Engineer with expertise in fluid power hydraulics to join our team. In this role, you'll complete engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements, with a strong focus on designing fluid power systems from cradle to grave. This includes starting with initial concepts, collaborating with cross-functional teams through development, building, and shipping the final product. Approximately 80% of the work involves hydraulics (pumping oil), with 20% focused on water or lubrication systems. PURPOSE.

Under direction of the Warehouse and Logistics Manager, this position is responsible for the monitoring and accuracy of all RiteHite Warehouse inventory. This position will also aid in establishing the Warehouse Ready initiative.

Generate cycle count reports, summarizing cycle results by part number, by location and by facility.

This position will have indirect authority to assign personnel to count.

Entering of all cycle counts and reconciling inventory adjustments with appointed Opco representatives (planners, buyers, supervisors and operations leadership in a timely fashion.

Propose and implement inventory processes as needed, with accompanied support documentation-

Investigate cycle adjustments that exceed a predetermined tolerance level and report and document any findings to appropriate personnel.

Maintain Stock-Out Repon integrity and work with appropriate personnel to reconcile BOM errors-

Work with all OPCO personnel (buyers, planners, supervisors and ops leadership) to establish shelf allocation, replenish quantities and delivery frequencies.

Stamps Health Services is an outpatient ambulatory care center that provides health care and health education to students and their spouses/domestic partners. The center is located in a state-of-the-art, 40,000-square-foot facility within the Joseph Brown Whitehead Building, next to our Campus Recreation Center. • Regularly cleans machine and surrounding area.
• Actively participates in safety programs and makes safety observations. Follows plant safety rules.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

SUMMARY: An Extrusion Utility Operator is responsible for safely and effectively contributing to team a of 4-5 individuals supporting the operation of extrusion lamination manufacturing equipment. Maintaining a strong work ethic while demonstrating good communication skills are important to exceeding customer expectations, productivity standards, and personal career growth. Extrusion Utility Operators are expected to be able to independently prioritize their time and duties to contribute to the team running efficiently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Performs duties in a manner that adheres to safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in the training curriculum, learning new aspects of extrusion line operations while completing assigned duties required for operation.
• Maintain quality standards by reviewing product specifications and ensuring thorough completion of assigned production paperwork.
• Operate as a member of a larger team responsible for aspect of overall process. Team members will rely on attention to detail and proper communication to ensure entirety of process is safe and efficient.
• Exercise cautious approach to heavy equipment including use over overhead hoists.
• Completes tasks to ensure area around the machine is clean to GMP & Food Safety standards
• Visual acuity for identifying minor imperfections and material defects.
• Basic understanding of general tool usage including tape measurers, utility knives and screw drivers.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
