What We’re Looking For:

If you are experienced in designing and optimizing communications solutions, particularly within VoIP, wireless, and cloud-based systems, and have a proven track record of collaborating with partners and customers, then you will be excited about the Principal Government Solutions Engineer opening with Iridium on our U.S. Government Team. As a Principal Government Solutions Engineer, you’ll be responsible for managing multiple activities and projects, including collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative communication solutions and ensure alignment with Iridium’s initiatives. In this role, you will focus primarily on advising clients and partners, integrating emerging technologies, and delivering scalable, cost-effective solutions that meet the unique needs of government customers. What You’ll Do:

• Architect mission-focused solutions that integrate Iridium Mobile Satellite Services (voice, data, and IoT) with tactical radios, network infrastructure, mission applications, and cloud platforms to meet U.S. Government requirements for operations, cybersecurity, resiliency, and interoperability.
• Work directly with government agencies, partners, and internal cross-functional teams to understand requirements, propose solutions, and ensure alignment with Iridium’s initiatives
• Identify and integrate innovative technologies into existing systems to enhance efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
• Serve as a technical advisor, providing guidance on system capabilities, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring optimal system performance
• Lead and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to technical specifications, and alignment with client objectives
• Foster strong relationships with government clients, deliver technical presentations, and provide training to ensure effective use of Iridium solutions
• Deliver clear, persuasive presentations of technical solutions and recommendations to customers in one-on-one meetings, briefings, and large conference settings, tailoring content to both technical and executive audiences
• Monitor industry trends, gather feedback from stakeholders, and recommend process improvements to enhance the overall performance and value of Iridium’s solutions

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree
• 10+ years of relevant experience in the satellite or military communications industry
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey products, deliverables, analyses, and/or issues clearly and confidently, and recognize and adapt to different communication techniques
• Comfortable speaking in front of audiences (small working groups and at industry conferences)
• Can easily build meaningful relationships with others, including senior leadership outside of your own department, and is comfortable providing constructive feedback to your team members and management
• Ability to support relationships and network internally and externally to facilitate business objectives

Work Environment:

The Solutions Architect – Transportation is responsible for providing consultation to the Global Information Services (GIS) organization and business units on the relevance and appropriate application of technology. The Solutions Architect will understand the design solutions and business processes that fulfill the business requirements. This position is accountable for ensuring that the application and integration of transportation and other logistics execution technology is done in a manner consistent with the Owens Corning enterprise architecture and standards. This position is responsible for collaborating with and educating others across the organization and supporting technology for transportation related logistics platforms.

The successful candidate for this role is a student of technology, maintains market awareness, and is networked into logistics internally and externally. They are accountable for keeping up to date on new and emerging developments in IT solutions and are expected to gain a working level understanding of these technologies by pursuing opportunities to gain practical knowledge through professional events, peer networks, or formal training. • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Owens Corning specific business processes and operations globally
• Build relationships within the organization, cross-functionally, and with key business stakeholders; continuously enhance connection to remain aligned with core objectives
• Collaborate with Domain Architects, peers, and other IS leaders in the development and ongoing sustainment of the 3-year transportation IT Roadmap for the Owens Corning technology environment.
• Work with process leaders, and project teams to identify and define integration opportunities for the appropriate technologies.
• Ensure technology that is being delivered is contemporary and aligned with the IT Roadmap.
• Ensure the performance, support, sustainability, and life cycle management of logistics solutions are engineered in the design stage

Executing Strategy

Technology Leadership & Development

• Define, design, build and oversee the implementation and rollout of ERP functional solutions based on SAP S/4 HANA for Transportation Management and cloud-based solutions that support business processes.
• Work with others to define project scope, based on workshops with business representatives, and knowledge of our landscape and solutions.
• Ideates on solutions to complex requirements.
• Reviews blueprints as outlined by the functional subject matter expert, of requirements and solutions.
• Assists our implementation partner with systems build activities including configuration, master data, investigation of enhancement points, and integrations, and writing functional specifications, unit testing etc.
• Collaborate with the program and business teams to ensure continuous business and IT alignment with no future gaps.
• Collaborate with functional and IT teams working closely within the Transportation Management track, especially IT Architecture, Master Data, Procurement, Manufacturing, etc.
• Own overall inventory of workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms (WRICEFs) for the area of TM.
• Partner with others to maintain an awareness of Owens Corning business strategy to identify opportunities to apply technological solutions to upcoming business problems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems (MIS), or equivalent degree
• Minimum of 8 years of experience within Information Technology industry
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP Logistics Execution, Sales & Distribution
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP Transportation Management (9.0 or higher)

EXPERIENCE:

• Prior SAP/ECC.6.0 and TM 9.0 and greater deployment experience in all phases of the ASAP methodology
• Prior experience with SAP TM Event Manager
• Prior experience with SAP S4 HANA / SAP Cloud Applications preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

As a Product Owner in Affinity Solutions Technology (AST) you will lead a cross-functional agile team implementing technology solutions for Securian's Affinity Solutions and Securian Canada markets. As the Senior Solution Advisor for Perioperative Services, you will be a critical subject matter expert and trusted advisor, bridging the gap between the client’s surgical and anesthesia departments and the capabilities of the Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium EHR. You will guide stakeholders through complex workflow transformations, driving the successful design and adoption of the SurgiNet and Anesthesia Management solutions. Your primary objective is to ensure these solutions improve patient safety, optimize resource utilization (ORs, staff, equipment), and ensure accurate charge capture in the highly complex perioperative environment.

To excel in this senior position, you must have a strong background in perioperative informatics, OR nursing/technology, or clinical applications consulting. You will lead the design of the entire surgical journey, from case scheduling to PACU, and be the go-to expert for the intricate processes of preference card management and supply/implant documentation. You will also oversee the integration of the Anesthesia Information Management System (AIMS) with physiological monitors and anesthesia machines. Your role will involve close collaboration with key stakeholders—including surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR nurses, schedulers, sterile processing directors, and supply chain leaders—to ensure the perioperative suite is safe, efficient, and financially sound.

Key Responsibilities:

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

Serve as the primary consultant for perioperative leadership on all aspects of the Oracle Health SurgiNet and Anesthesia solutions.

Provide expert support and knowledge transfer on perioperative best practices, including governance for preference cards, block scheduling, and charge capture.

Work directly with client counterparts to facilitate design workshops, review deliverables, and drive consensus on perioperative workflow and build changes.

Solution Design & Workflow Analysis:

Lead the analysis and design of the end-to-end perioperative workflow, including case scheduling, pre-admission testing (PAT), intraoperative nursing and anesthesia documentation, and PACU.

Oversee the design and maintenance strategy for foundational elements like surgical preference cards, resource scheduling (rooms/equipment), and integration with supply chain/inventory management.

Define requirements for the Anesthesia Information Management System (AIMS), including its integration with bedside monitors via CareAware for real-time data flow.

Implementation & Solution Management:

Act as a lead or driver for testing events, including developing and documenting scripts in an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool to validate complex surgical and anesthesia workflows.

Provide expert support for cutover planning, go-live execution, and post-go-live sustainment, including ticket management for perioperative issues.

Assist in the review of training manuals and job aids to ensure they accurately reflect the configured workflows and system design.

Required Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of combined experience in perioperative informatics, surgical services leadership, or as an OR nurse/technologist with significant "super user" or implementation experience.

Oracle Health/Cerner Expertise: Direct, hands-on experience with the Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium platform. Specific expertise in SurgiNet, Anesthesia Management, Preference Card Management, and CareAware is required.

Domain Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in perioperative workflows, sterile processing, preference card management, surgical billing/charging, and resource management.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical teams and senior clinical/surgical leadership.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. A clinical background and license (e.g., RN, CST) is strongly preferred.

Currently, we are looking for a Senior Oracle Cloud Financials Solution Architect to join our team. This is a key role playing an integral part in our growing Oracle ERP practice. This is a full‑time position that can sit anywhere in the United States. Must be willing to travel to support clients onsite as needed.
