The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking a Chief Product Owner (CPO) to lead the overall vision, strategy, and coordination of the C5I business area operating within the organization’s agile, multi-team environments. What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have

An innovative aerospace technology company developing high-reliability communication systems for space and airborne platforms is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and manufacturing operations.
This role is ideal for a hands-on quality leader who combines Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methodologies to drive measurable operational impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify improvement opportunities and implement root cause countermeasures
- Lead Kaizen events and cross-functional process improvement initiatives
- Develop and execute Value Stream Mapping (VSM) roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Champion Lean and Six Sigma principles across engineering and manufacturing teams
- Mentor and develop internal Lean practitioners

Required Qualifications

General Summary
As a member of the Manufacturing Engineering group at Penumbra, you will be called upon to solve complex problems and implement innovative solutions. You will provide manufacturing technology and robust solutions aimed at commercializing new products and continuously improving production processes. Working cross-functionally with engineering groups across the company, as well as with Production, Quality Control and Quality Assurance, you will resolve problems encountered on the production floor and throughout the business, and will apply your engineering knowledge and creativity to implement adaptations and modifications to the production line and to quality systems.

Position Qualifications
Minimum education and experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering or related degree with 2+ years relevant engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Additional qualifications:
•Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment recommended, medical device industry preferred
