Job Summary

As the Trade Show Manager, you will take a leading role in planning, coordinating, and executing trade shows and events to reach our target audiences, including pro-contractors, hardware dealers/distributors, and the media. You will help communicate the Makita Advantage to these audiences by creating and executing event plans that include compelling signage and graphics, hands-on product demonstrations, dynamic display structures, efficient lighting, effective lead collection, and more.
Areas of focus will range from budget and calendar planning to asset co-design and sourcing, inventory management, and hands-on activity, including booth set-up and on-site management at select events.

Essential Job Duties
- Work with the senior communications manager as well as product management, channel marketing, brand marketing, operations, and senior management on a full range of trade show activities. This will include live trade shows in major convention venues.
- Build the annual Makita U.S.A. trade show calendar and budget.
- Work with our off-site logistics partner to manage and track asset inventory and display tool inventory for use at trade shows. This includes inspection and inventory reconciliation as well as routine maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with in-house marketing staff and vendors to build booth assets, including structures and signage.
- Work with the in-house product management team (and occasionally outside vendors) to create demonstrations of key Makita products.
- Create effective lead collection tactics at trade shows.
- Coordinate show orders and shipping for select events.
- Coordinate on-site details for select events, including shipping and receiving, staffing, and set-up.

Work Environment
This position is based full-time in the Makita U.S.A. Home Office in La Mirada, CA.
EVENTS: This position will include indoor and outdoor events. The work environmental characteristics for these events include the following:
- The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
- In rare instances, activity goes into the night and proceeds until completion, rain or shine.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, as well as risk of electrical shock and vibration. Personal protective equipment is provided, and professional labor is on hand to manage advanced electrical applications.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. At select trade shows, noise levels are similar to a construction job site. Hearing protection is provided.
Education and/or Experience Desired
- Five to ten years of related trade show and event experience in venues including convention halls.
- Experience in executing a trade show booth βfrom the ground upβ, including arranging shipping and on-site booth set-up, as well as ordering and tracking on-site show services.
Travel: The expected travel for this role is up to 15%.

The Omni Channel Support Specialist is responsible for monitoring the daily transactions of omni channel orders, including but not limited to buy online pick up in store, buy online ship to store, Roadie, and ship from store. This position supports the stores and communicates with customer service, and our website developers regularly to follow up on pending orders and offer additional training or support needed on omni channel initiatives.
The schedule for this position after training is as follows:
- Sunday: 9:30am β 6pm remote
- Monday: 12:30pm β 9pm remote
- Tuesday: off
- Wednesday: off
- Thursday: 12:30pm β 9pm onsite/ remote
- Friday: 12:30pm β 9pm remote
- Saturday: 10:30am β 7pm remote
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with Store Operations to ensure Boot Barn stores are in compliance with omni channel processes and procedures.
- Communicate daily with stores and District Managers to resolve discrepancies with online orders as they arise.
- Troubleshoot past due orders to ensure stores are meeting Boot Barnβs customer service expectations and communicating order picking status to customers.
- Research cancelled orders and partner with stores to resolve order picking issues.
- Act as the point of contact for the store team and respond to questions on omni channel processes and procedures.
- Analyze complex business problems and identify business and user requirements.
- Memorialize user cases, user requirements and create process flow diagrams
- Create functional specifications and work with development team throughout the development processes.
- Document bugs and assist in resolution.
- Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
- Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
- Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.

Inspect products for correct size, quantity, and color before shipping.

As the Trade Show Specialist, you will take an important role in planning, coordinating, and executing trade shows and events to reach our target audiences, including pro contractors, hardware dealers/distributors, and the media. You will help communicate the Makita Advantage to these audiences by creating and executing event plans that include compelling signage and graphics, hands-on product demonstrations, dynamic display structures, efficient lighting, effective lead collection, and more.
Areas of focus will range from budget and calendar planning to asset co-design and sourcing, inventory management, and hands-on activity, including booth set-up and on-site management at select events.
Your efforts will be a key part of our daily efforts to increase awareness and drive demand for Makita products. Essential Job Duties
- Work with the senior communications manager as well as product management, channel marketing, brand marketing, operations, and senior management on a full range of trade show activities. This will include live trade shows in major convention venues.
- Build the annual Makita U.S.A. trade show calendar and budget.
- Work with our off-site logistics partner to manage and track asset inventory and display tool inventory for use at trade shows. This includes inspection and inventory reconciliation as well as routine maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with in-house marketing staff and vendors to build booth assets, including structures and signage.
- Work with the in-house product management team (and occasionally outside vendors) to create demonstrations of key Makita products.
- Create effective lead collection tactics at trade shows.
- Coordinate show orders and shipping for select events.
- Coordinate on-site details for select events, including shipping and receiving, staffing, and set-up.

The Warehouse Technician will process orders, prepare items for shipment and receive incoming inventory. SUMMARY: To prepare and stage press or laminator jobs. Lead shift Prepress personnel on shift tasks and day-to-day operations. Lead Prepress personnel are used in any capacity needed to stage items at any machine. They may retrieve and prepare cylinders for press run and after the press run, clean the cylinders and store them. - Actively participate and embrace in the SPOT Safety Program fundamentals and adhere to all safety guidelines and rules to aid APC's efforts to achieve a zero-accident rate.
- Participate as a Subject Matter Expert in developing, understanding, and following Standard Operating Procedures and or training documentation.
- Print and understand each job's Job Jacket, Print Specification, and Manufacturing Specification and take to the press.
- Retrieve daily production schedule that identifies which job will run, quantities, priorities, etc. Interpret and act upon information.
- Detect, report, and resolve all missing or substandard machine parts.
- Use an automated storage system terminal to retrieve and return cylinders and anilox to storage.
- Assemble and transport print cylinders and aniloxes between printing press and prepress departments.
- Place cylinders on assembly table and install the gears and journals. Install the pans, applicator pipes, end shields, splash guards and cylinders into the carriage units.
- Return the units to prepress, remove the parts, clean up the cylinders, and store them back into the storage system after a job has run.
- Aid on press set-ups as needed. Assist miscellaneous housekeeping and cleaning responsibilities.
- Complete required reports and paperwork. Use a computer terminal.
- Perform required cleaning tasks - some daily, weekly or monthly requirements.
- Obtain Power Industrial Truck license(s).
- Load/unload trucks at shipping dock.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training and Experience:
Bachelorβs degree in Operations Management, Food Science, Agriculture, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing or fresh produce processing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of leafy greens processing, food safety standards, and production workflows preferred. Experience overseeing production teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Boot Barn is looking for a Commercial Accounts Specialist to join our Merchandise team. The Commercial Accounts Specialist will be a key conduit between the Boot Barn buying team and our commercial accounts sales team for work boots and work apparel. While the Commercial Account Specialist is directly accountable for placing and tracking purchase orders, because they serve as a connection point between the buying team, the commercial accounts team and stores, they will have tremendous opportunity to build problem solving skills, collaboration skills and gain knowledge about product details and product assortments that are right for our customer. The ideal candidate would have at least 1-2 years of experience in buying, operations, sales, production or inventory management and eager to grow with Boot Barn.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work between commercial accounts and buying team to find efficiency in both assortment and ways of working by developing a robust knowledge of the products available, deep understanding of the work customer and developing new processes between teams (order placement, tracking orders, projecting needs).
- Work closely with the Commercial Account Team and Vendors to help fulfill sales needs in a timely and accurate manner, track orders and relay information between teams.
- Participate in the bi-weekly call with the Merchants and Commercial Accounts and attend vendor meetings where necessary.
- Analyze the business on a weekly basis to identify opportunities: providing weekly recaps and tracking Commercial Account sales using the CRM system.
- Confirm inventory with vendor prior to placing CA orders, track shipping, and confirm customer bought in full.
- Style creation and maintenance in Aptos for special order styles.
- Communicate with vendors regularly on PO flow and issues.
- Assist the stores with receiving issues, training them as needed on standards and procedures.
- Assist the accounting department in troubleshooting invoicing errors.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned by management.

We are hiring a Production Supervisor for our Moorpark, CA location to provide departmental direction and support, using coaching, motivation and supervisory techniques, ensures that teams achieve levels of performance in accordance to the companyβs goal. The Production Supervisor continuously seeks process improvement through use of analysis of production methods and controls: Standard Operating Procedures, Best practices, and all other company policies.
What you will be responsible for:
- Lead and enforce safe work practices in compliance with company policies.
- Execute the production schedule by supervising, directing, and prioritizing daily manufacturing and shipping operations.
- Allocate labor, equipment, and materials to minimize downtime and ensure on-time completion of scheduled work.
- Monitor production efficiency, quality, and capacity; track and report downtime by cause and area.
- Support quality objectives and continuous improvement efforts (corrective actions, non-conformances, root cause analysis, 5S, etc.).
- Review production records for accuracy and completeness.
- Approve timecards and manage employee time-off to maintain production coverage.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide ongoing coaching, and address conduct/performance issues per policy in coordination with HR.
- Develop and oversee training schedules; train and mentor production team members and communicate shift priorities/changes.
- Maintain strong communication across employees and leadership; promote teamwork and engagement.
- Manage inventory and replenishment of production supplies.

Salary Description:
$75,000 - $90,000 per annual DOQ
We are committed to providing pay ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations. The listed pay range is provided in good faith and is subject to adjustments in accordance with company policies and market conditions.
This position is eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus program based on company performance goals. Bonus payouts are not guaranteed and are determined at the company's discretion.

JOB SUMMARY
The Branch Purchasing Coordinator works closely with the Branch Managers and Project Managers as well as the other Purchasing department staff to ensure timely and accurate distribution of the materials needed for each branch. This position will be the main line of communication between each branch and the Purchasing department as well as handle any issues that may arise. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Purchasing.
This job requires the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment with a focus on administration and customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Be in constant communication with each branch for all purchasing needs.
- Work with the branches to determine foreseen purchasing needs.
- Follows up on purchase orders to ensure delivery and troubleshoots issues as they arise.
- Work alongside Buyer and Purchasing Associate to place orders for all materials necessary to complete each job to ensure timely delivery for site needs.
- Be in frequent communication with fitters and project managers to discuss tracking of materials.
- Prepare and examine packing slips, ensuring PO numbers are correct and materials are ready to be shipped.
- Work in ERP system frequently.
- Work with material pullers to resolve questions and/or problems with orders.
- Attend all required meetings.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
