Key Responsibilities

Shift Schedule & Coverage Expectations
This role provides leadership coverage for second-shift manufacturing operations and requires flexibility to support business needs while maintaining a sustainable schedule.
· Standard Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
· Weekday Overtime Coverage:
As needed, the shift may extend up to 12:20 AM to support production continuity, issue resolution, or staffing needs
· Saturday Overtime Coverage:
Eight-hour shift every other Saturday, scheduled in advance to support production demands

The Role
The 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for leading evening production operations with a strong balance of quality, compliance, and people leadership. This role requires the ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and resolve issues in real time, while ensuring all processes align with medical manufacturing standards.
This supervisor sets the tone for the shift by maintaining a calm, respectful, and accountable work environment, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with all procedures.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and support second-shift production teams to meet daily production goals while maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory requirements
· Ensure strict adherence to documented procedures, work instructions, and traceability requirements
· Monitor production flow and material availability, addressing issues proactively and escalating appropriately when needed
· Troubleshoot equipment, process, and personnel issues using sound judgment and root-cause thinking
· Review and ensure accuracy of production documentation, travelers, and quality records
· Maintain a strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and organization across the production floor
· Communicate clearly with the first shift, engineering, quality, and materials to ensure continuity and issue resolution
· Provide clear shift handoff reports that accurately reflect production status, issues, and follow-ups
· Coach and develop operators through consistent expectations, feedback, and support

What We’re Looking For
· 5+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
· Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (medical device experience strongly preferred)

· Proven ability to troubleshoot problems thoughtfully rather than react impulsively

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Maintain compliance and audit readiness by reinforcing OSHA, GMP, ISO 13485, and cleanroom requirements and ensuring accurate production/time documentation.
- Maintain equipment readiness through basic troubleshooting and coordination with Facilities/Maintenance for preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Promote continuous improvement through standard work discipline, 5S/visual management, training effectiveness, and reduction of variation and waste.
Skills:

The Production Supervisor would have all production personnel on that shift as direct reports. The team will be focused on the Metals Market. - Identify training needs for personnel on shift and schedule training.
- Develop/implement growth and development plans for personnel. This includes daily feedback and annual reviews.
- Verify that orders are complete, documentation is complete and accurate, parts are packed and labeled, properly report time and quantity correctly, and ready to be shipped (all paperwork is filled out completely and correctly).
- Assure production team is performing line clean out and work cell clean up prior to next job or shift.
- Responsible for meeting all SQF (Safe Quality Foods), quality, and customer requirements for this position.
- Responsible for facility lock up and shutdown of unused laser systems.
- Other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role utilizing automated production equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or coursework in Management, Business, or Leadership.

Respond to specific guest needs and resolve problems with a sense of urgency. Adhere to Brand standards and systems, delivering quality food and beverage to each guest. Maintain a clean and neat workstation; complete thorough cleaning of guest areas as directed. Complete all required training and support the training of other team members.
What You’ll Do:
As a Shift Leader, you’ll be the go-to person during your shift, helping to:
- Lead by example and support your team in delivering top-notch guest service
- Keep operations running smoothly - prepping food, managing inventory, or handling cash
- Train and coach crew members to be their best
- Ensure the store stays clean, safe, and welcoming by upholding all Food Safety, Brand, and Network standards
- Step in for the manager when needed, help make key decisions
What You Bring to the Table:
- Previous experience in food service or retail (leadership experience is a plus!)
- A positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay cool under pressure
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- A team-first mindset and a passion for great coffee and customer service
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- You’re fluent in English and eligible to work in the U.S.
