JOB DESCRIPTION
First Capital Advisors is seeking an Asset Management Analyst for our expanding portfolio of multi-family and retail properties. In this key position, you will play an important role in maximizing the value of existing company-owned assets. Your efforts will help ensure peak property performance and support decision-making, directly impacting our teamβs investment strategy and operations.
This is a full-time position based in Wheaton, IL, reporting to and working heavily with our Texas-based Director of Asset Management. Occasional travel throughout Texas is required. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Liaise with lenders, including ongoing compliance with financial reporting requirements, monitoring debt maturities, overseeing escrow requirements, etc.
- Oversee the completion of replacement reserve requests and lender inspections
- Conduct various research and analysis to support decision-making
- Prepare updates for management meetings and quarterly investor reports
- Review and analyze property operating and accounting reports, with a focus on assessing trends in performance and detecting any operational issues
- Assist in creating and managing property budgets (operating and capital)
- Ensure each property performs in accordance with its business plan; suggest modifications when necessary
- Perform cash flow modeling and produce financial proformas
- Conduct site visits, which will require occasional travel throughout Texas
- Coordinate with various third-party vendors
- Monitor market conditions, including supply and demand dynamics, changing tenant preferences, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess most, but not necessarily all, of the following qualifications:
- Bachelorβs Degree (business, finance, economics, or real estate concentration preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience working in a financial analysis capacity within the CRE industry (multi-family preferred)
- Basic knowledge of accounting required; ability to read and interpret financial statements
- Experience creating and analyzing financial models
- Understanding of financial concepts, including return metrics (yield on cost, IRR, NPV, DCF, etc.)
- Understanding of capital structures (senior debt, mezzanine, preferred equity, etc.)
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Basic understanding of construction concepts
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Yardi, CoStar, and RealPage is preferred
- Ability to work with remote teams and properties; must be self-accountable and have strong initiative

Role Summary
The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) plays a critical leadership role in driving financial insights, operational transparency, and strategic decisionβmaking across Perform Properties. This position leads the companyβs budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting across a diversified commercial real estate portfolio of office and retail assets.
This role partners closely with executive leadership, portfolio and asset management, investments, accounting, and leasing teams to deliver timely, decision-ready financial insights, support asset, fund, and portfolio reporting, and deliver high-quality materials for senior management at Perform Properties and Blackstone.
The Director of FP&A plays a critical role in translating performance into clear financial narratives, key performance indicators, and market informed analyses that support strategic planning and capital allocation decisions.

Essential Job Functions
Budgeting & Forecasting Leadership
- Lead the annual budget, quarterly reforecast, and long-range planning processes across property level and fund level P&Ls.
- Coordinate inputs from asset management, leasing, property management, and other corporate functions to ensure consistent assumptions and timelines.
- Partner with asset management to develop/analyze scenario analyses and sensitivity models related to occupancy, rent growth, leasing velocity, operating expenses, and capital spending.
- Perform and review analytics on financial projections by sector, market, and investment; validate completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness of forecasts and analyze trends to identify risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
- Collaborate with corporate departments, centralized shared services teams, and executive leadership to review and obtain approval of the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts.
- Monitor variance to budget and forecast, identify key drivers, and communicate risks and opportunities to leadership.
- Provide ongoing support to property management, market teams, and corporate partners, including training, troubleshooting, and user guidance related to budgeting systems and processes.
Reporting & Performance Insights
- Develop and own FP&Aβs monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L reporting packages for office and retail assets, including same-store, fund, and total portfolio views.
- Partner with accounting to ensure alignment between GAAP results and management reporting.
- Analyze trends in NOI, SSNOI, operating margins, recoveries, and corporate overhead.
- Prepare executive level summaries, dashboards, commentary, and board book materials that clearly explain performance drivers and outlook.
- Produce analysis related to leasing, touring activity, rental rates, financial performance, and broader operational trends.
- Create and refine content, metrics, assumptions, and messaging to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in format and messaging across all forms of reporting.
- Evaluate existing processes, identify opportunities for enhancement, and implement improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Team Leadership & Development and CrossβFunctional Support
- Mentor, coach, and guide analysts, including direct reports, to support skill development and highβquality output.
- Partner with the VP of FP&A, executive leadership, and market teams on an ongoing basis.
- Partner with Technology, Accounting, and Data & Research teams on reporting tools and data integration.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, ideally within real estate or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of office and retail asset economics, including leasing, recoveries, capital expenditures, and NOI drivers.
- Experience supporting executive leadership-level reporting and analytics, managing budgeting/forecasting processes and systems, and working with crossβfunctional teams.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen, and advanced financial modeling capabilities.
- Strong PowerPoint, Excel, and analytical skills; experience with BI tools, Argus, or Yardi is a plus.

- The director must have a clear understanding of multiple managed care contracts, multiple specialty insurance and billing practices, and exercise professional competency in reviewing patient accounts to maximize reimbursement and minimize financial risk to The Guthrie Clinic. Successful oversight will result in increased net revenues by reducing bad debt from potential write-offs. Interactions will primarily be conducted with both patients, staff, leaders, vendors and the results of efforts will lead to secure payment for open balances. Serves as a resource to faculty, managers, and clinic staff in all patient payment related issues.

RCPMS seeks a friendly, motivated, and experienced individual for our open PFS Manager position. This is a Full-Time position. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. On site.
SUMMARY
The Manager, Patient Financial Services (PFS) provides oversight of patient billing and collection within billing operations under the direction of the Director of Patient Financial Services. Monitors work processes and identifies/implements process improvement opportunities. The Manager, PFS oversees and evaluates Patient Financial Services staff, monitors and ensures compliance with Federal, State and industry standards and regulations, prioritizes and maintains timely turnaround, serves as resource for billing issues, performs periodic audits, and acts as the primary contact for escalated customer service concerns.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory and leadership experience in medical billing office environment
- Epic experience preferred
