ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Coordinate all transportation for product delivery by reviewing shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping schedules. This also includes post-shipment research to facilitate tracking requests, verify shipment dimensions/weights and proper description selection and any other issues that may arise.
Review carrier routings for agreement between mode of selected carrier and specific shipment dimensions and weight.
Review orders for possible product consolidation between Opcos.
Serve as primary contact for carriers, internal Customer Service Representatives and external customers regarding product delivery.
Oversee policies/procedures and documentation of the waiting to ship inventory. This includes the proper creation of shipping releases, bills of lading and shipment notifications required by customer selected 3PLs.
Act as the JDE expert on all day-to-day shipping related functions. Daily work in JDE and Microsoft office is required. This includes but is not limited to: Creation of BOLs, ship confirm transactions, reviewing or creating reports in MS Excel / Word, review of active sales orders, etc.
Understand USMC and international compliance regulations. Work with Corporate International and Traffic departments to create and ensure accuracy of export documentation.
Plan, assign and direct work of shipping employees to include loading, recording and posting customer orders; and dock sweeps.
Ensures "Best in Class" on time delivery performance.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Shipping Supervisor is primarily responsible for leading and developing team members, while focusing on a strategy and vision that aligns with division and corporate goals.
This includes setting expectations that ensure safe operations and efficient flow of our production floor, managing costs, educating the team on business dynamics, preparing proposals and justifications for projects, and driving personal development for each teammate.
The successful candidate will lead and develop a team that properly manages producing products from raw materials to shipping finished product that exceeds our customers’ expectation, as well as develop and foster successful relationships with internal and external customers and focus on regular interactions with scheduling/production control, sales, and other divisions to ensure shipments are scheduled properly and on-time delivery is a priority.
Supervisors are also expected to work collaboratively to assure the best interests of Nucor Tubular Group are met while guiding the team to success in terms of safety and personal development.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including scheduled and unscheduled overtime, rotating shifts, and weekends.

We are seeking a Temporary Shipping Assistant for our growing team! This position is a full time position at our studio in Hoboken, NJ through June 30, 2026. You will work closely with the entire Operations team to ensure orders from our DTC website are carefully picked and packed with care. You will also help replenishing inventory and completing inventory cycle counts when needed.
Position Overview:
- Full-Time Position: Mon-Fri 9AM-530PM
- On-site in our Hoboken, NJ studio 5 days
- You will be standing most of the day packing orders
- You will be lifting up to 30 pounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack orders
- Replenish inventory and assist in inventory cycle counts as needed
- Have a working knowledge of current Electric Picks products and procedures
- Partner with Customer Care team on order/product statuses
- Maintain an organized shipping area and workflow

Pay Rate: $21/hr.
Shift Time: 1st shift, M-F, 7am- 4pm
Level I: 0-3 years. Under direct supervision, responsible for the receipt and shipment of incoming materials, supplies, and products. Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition. Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures. Typically requires a high school education or equivalent and little or no experience. Frequently reports to a Shipping / Receiving Supervisor.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Receive raw materials into warehouse from vendor/ third party
- Transfer raw materials from third party
- File paperwork and organize paperwork accordingly
- Log and report materials
- Assist warehouse Lead
- Order office supplies
