Summary:

The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist will perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures, will provide support for other imaging technologists as needed, and help to facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow. The CT Technologist will demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed or required. The CT Technologist must be able to troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. The Technologist is expected to participate in ongoing education, safety, and technical advances within their scope of licensure. The Technologist will adhere to, and maintain, the expected imaging competencies as outlined by management. Education/Skills

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required

Experience

  • 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred

  • One of the following primary modality certifications is required:
    • Radiography (R) by ARRT

Job Description

We are currently seeking Board-Certified/Board Eligible Radiologists that are fellowship-trained in Breast Imaging to join our premier growing practice in a HYBRID role!

This is an exciting opportunity to join 9 experienced, highly skilled Radiologists focused on a team approach, willing to actively provide mentorship to newer physicians in our state-of-the-art facilities. We cover urgent care collectively from home. Ability to read body imaging and general radiology would also be a plus.

The Breast Care Team, part of a large, multispecialty practice includes Nurses, Navigators and Breast Surgeons as well as a multidisciplinary cancer program with weekly tumor boards.

Requirements include:

  • fellowship training in breast imaging (or have significant breast imaging experience) with breast imaging, diagnostic and interventional skills

  • ability to read tomosynthesis, breast MRI, and breast ultrasound

Responsibilities include:

  • overseeing both screening and diagnostic cases along with our renowned breast surgeons. Sonically guided biopsies are performed

  • Researches and recommends new technologies and equipment to increase departmental productivity. Uses consistent exercise of discretion and judgment.
