About the Role
Our client specializes in new construction multifamily and large-scale commercial painting projects. This role focuses on detailed estimating, bid preparation, and post-award cost support.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from architectural, structural, and finish drawings
- Quantify surface areas (walls, ceilings, doors, trim, steel, concrete, etc.)
- Identify appropriate coating systems based on plans and specifications
- Prepare accurate cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Develop preliminary and final project budgets
- Submit competitive bids and proposals within deadlines

THE TASK AT HAND:
- Conducting ongoing room inspections to identify repair needs
- Installing or repairing sheet rock and other wall coverings
- Painting and painting touch-ups as needed throughout the property

Key Duties:
Perform mechanical and technical work on diesel and gas motors, engines, generators and systems of various size vessels (30-100 ft) and industrial equipment. This includes heavy and light duty mechanical, electrical and plumbing repairs.
Requirements:
Min. 2+ yrs in-depth knowledge and marine mechanical experience on diesel and gas outboards and inboards with the ability to independently trouble shoot.
- Must have experience operating standard mechanical tools and diagnostic software.

Responsibilities:
* Lead the Maintenance Department to deliver results in a broad array of activities including facilities maintenance, annual preventative maintenance activities, repair and rehabilitation of structures and equipment, landscaping and support for park operations.
