This full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Medium and Heavy Truck Technology (MHTT) presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the exceptional training and pedagogy at the College.
The Transportation Technologies department offers various degree and certificate options to prepare students to be successful technicians in the transportation industry. The department programming focuses on automotive service technology, carbon-based alternative fuels, electric vehicles & hybrids, heavy vehicle & truck repair, and Toyota technician training. All programs prepare students to pass the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) examinations and professional manufacturer certifications.
Medium and Heavy Truck Technology (MHTT) is an A.A.S degree program that enables students to gain hands-on, practical knowledge and service of medium and heavy vehicle and equipment platforms, including trucks, buses, tractor-trailer systems, and off-road equipment. The courses are both aligned and in compliance with the Automotive Service Excellence Education Foundation (ASEEF) to provide industry-certified quality of instruction and accreditation. MHTT courses are also part of two professional certificates offered at the College which provide a practical skillset and allow a student to gain quick entry into the industry.

The Tech will provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
Additionally, the Tech will provide services for inpatients, outpatients; hospital operating suites, the emergency department (ED), and the continuing care center (CCC).

- Contract Duration: 3 Months
- Conducts audit reviews of the organization's financial and operational processes to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Responsible for the evaluation and monitoring of Business / Operational risk management, control and governance practices, with recommendations for improvement where necessary.
- Makes recommendations to the Audit Committee or Board of Directors on issues raised during audit procedures.
- Provides detailed feedback to business unit management. May also be tasked with leading specific control initiatives, firm-wide process changes or for conducting special investigations.

Your Impact:
The IT Auditor will be part of this team and focus on executing end-to-end audit services focused on different business functions. As part of the Third Line of Defense, the candidate will work closely with risk partners in the Second Line of Defense and practitioners in the First Line of Defense. The Audit Manager will also have the opportunity to coach more junior team members on projects to help with their growth and development. Lastly, the Audit Manager will build and maintain well managed independent relationships with audit clients.
Qualifications:
- Typically has 10+ years of experience, including previous experience in public accounting, risk management, internal audit or other relevant experience and 4+ years of management experience
- Solid understanding of the financial services industry
- Experience auditing financial institutions across different risks
- Proficiency in audit methodology and risk/controls assessments
- Experience managing and developing more junior staff
- Executive communications skills (both oral and written)
- CIA or CPA certification
